Apenas Gratidão! Hostel tranquilo com ambiente familiar. As tarefas são muito tranquilas. Daiana está sempre pronta para ajudarmos em qualquer situação. Fui uma ótima experiência pude conhecer viajantes de varios lugares e tive a oportunidade de desenvolver o inglês. Obrigada Ivete pelo cafezinho de todas as manhãs e Daiana obrigada pelo carinho paciência e receptividade! ❤️

Consegui praticar inglês e espanhol. O voluntariado no hostel era trabalho mesmo. Mas para além disso, existiam muitas regras e algumas não tinham necessidade. Acredito que poderia ser mais leve. Eu recomendo que seja implantado um Night Shift para que não sobrecarregue as voluntárias, já que tínhamos que atender demandas do late checkin, deixar coisas limpas e de exigir silêncio dos hóspedes após nosso horário de trabalho. Também senti falta de termos um espaço onde pudéssemos descansar e ver TV porque não havia espaço para entretenimento. Ademais, a Dai é uma pessoa que levo no coração.

I practiced my English and Spanish and met great people! Daiana and her mother are committed people and ensure that everything is always clean, orderly and working. I learned a lot. During the period of volunteering I made some suggestions, which were accepted, however some of my tasks and schedules were suddenly changed. I just believe it would be good have someone doing the night shift, because after the end of our shift and the departure of the owners, the volunteers become responsible for noise control, cooking and guest issues, even If we had worked all day.

La experiencia fue increíble. Tuve la oportunidad de aprender mucho sobre tareas de casa y sobre recepción, mejore mucho mi ingles y he aprendido mucho sobre el trato con los clientes. El trabajo es muy tranquilo. El hostel es muy acojedor, la gente es muy amable y los compañeros de trabajo también. Daiana es una persona muy atenta y se va a asegurar de que siempre estés bien y agusto. Definitivamente se siente como un hogar, gracias por todo equipo el hostel!

I really enjoyed working at the hostel. I improved my englsih and portuguesee too. The hostel is super tidy, and everyone who works there try to keep it like that. My shift was respected, and also my meals. The hostel is near to town, so after my shift i used to go to one of the brigde. I worked as front desk and this is the dutty that i enjoyed more (speaking in three different languajes, receving guest from all world, working with different website plataform to rent a room). Also i worked as a housekeeper making beds. Unfortunatelly, the time flyes so, my month there, was fast.

Gostei muito de ser voluntário no hostel!!! É um hostel muito tranquilo, bem organizado e bem localizado. Foi muito legal trabalhar com a Daiana, pois foi sempre muito atenciosa com os voluntários e uma pessoa muito bem preparada para gerenciar pessoas. Boa pessoa para ensinar as tarefas e muito flexível para organizar os horários, quando temos alguma necessidade. Também adorei trabalhar com a Dona Ivete, que nunca está parada e deixa o hostel sempre muito bem limpo! E foi um lugar que tive a sorte de conhecer muita gente muito bacana. Recomendo muito essa experiência!!!

Foi com grande tristeza que deixamos o Eder seguir sua caminhada para novas experiencia.
Adoramos ter ele em nosso Hostel, dinâmico pró ativo... sempre bem disposto e a sorrir.
Muito responsável e não gosta de estar parado.

Working at the hostel was a very good experience! The main task is to work at the reception and usually it's very chill. Sometimes I had to help cleaning but there was always another person to help me and the time schedule is very good. Louise is a great manager and friend that I was lucky to meet. I would recommend the hostel to everyone who wants to have a great experience in Porto! (:

I am incredibly lucky that my first volunteering experience has been in the hostel! Friendly atmosphere among the colleagues, they are very helpful. Obrigadissima, Lu, Derick, dona Ivete, Daiana! I will miss you! I haven't worked in hostels or hotels before, here I have learnt to deal with reception, to work in booking systems. Here you will work only half a day, so the other half you can explore the city and the suburbs, you have a plenty of free time! The hostel is extremely clean, quiet , exactly what I wanted. I will definitely return.
