Words are not enough to describe my experience throughout the 2 months I spent volunteering at VCV. In this time, I not only learned a lot about myself, but also developed some new skills and met countless amazing people. The environment and the people at VCV truly make you feel like you are at home. The teaching is really enjoyable as well, all students, are very committed, grateful and sweet. VCV provided me with the opportunity to not just feel like a random tourist, but to feel like I am a part of the community here in Hanoi. I could not be more grateful to everyone at VCV for this time.

I'm so grateful for the amazing experience I had during my 12 weeks with VCV. I was able to engage in meaningful cultural the school, grow my teaching skills, and meet amazing people. Ms. Hay does an excellent job communicating with volunteers and organizing the social/class schedules. She has really set the tone for VCV to be a welcoming and family-like environment. The Vietnamese volunteers/staff are incredible people and incredible cooks! Everyone is very supportive. It was honestly so hard to say goodbye because I had such an amazing time. I highly recommend. Thank you VCV family!!! <3

My experience at VCV was truly amazing. It was a complete cultural the school discovering Vietnamese food, living and sharing with local people, and having deep conversations about different perspectives on life. Traveling and spending time with all the volunteers felt like a family! Teaching the classes was both fun and enriching, as it gave me a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture. There was always something new to learn and discuss when comparing it with my own. I really enjoyed both classes with the kids and the adults. VCV truly felt like a family, and I'm very grateful for it. ❤️

I think these two months were some of the best times of my life. I had the opportunity to be fully immersed in the culture, learning how Vietnamese people live and traveling to beatiful places. Miss Hay and the staff were always very kind and friendly. Something I will always remember is that during this volunteer experience, I created a family — both with the other volunteers and the Vietnamese people we met.

I've had the time of my life volunteering with this program. Teaching was such a rewarding experience and beyond the classes, I deeply enjoyed immersing myself in Vietnamese culture. From sharing meals and traditions to exploring daily life, I gained a true appreciation for the kindness, warmth, and generosity of the people I met here. This program gave me memories and friendships that I'll carry with me forever, and I'm truly grateful for the opportunity. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful experience abroad.

My experience with VCV has been amazing. Since the first day, I felt welcomed and excited. I could never imagine a better way to spend my summer vacation than coming to VCV and living the real Vietnamese experience. I want to thank Ms. Hay for all the support and understanding, and Manager Thu for being such a genuine and helpful person. If you are considering coming to Vietnam, this is definitely the place to do it.

Really great experience at VCV, you can truly immerse yourself in the culture and meet with so many locals! They provide lesson plans to the school with which is a great help!

I am so grateful for my experience at VCV! Teaching here was the best possible decision I could've made! I was teaching both adults and children every week which was truly a valuable learning experience trying to navigate all sorts of levels of the school age groups. The social experience is one of the most impactful parts of VCV because you're able to not only get to know all of your students and other students at VCV, but also all of the VCV Staff, VCV Partners, and the other VCV Volunteers. It was insanely difficult to leave my VCV Family and Vietnam as a whole. I hope to be back soon! :)

VCV is an amazing experience. From the beginning you are welcomed into the VCV family and a homely environment. The schedule is very flexible and there is an all-rounded structure to help enhance your experience as a teacher. The students are engaging and willing to learn and there is constant communication and support when needed from Ms Hay and other members. I would love to come back to VCV in the near future and do it all over again.
