This is a responsibility-based volunteer position and comes with real responsibilities. To make sure the experience works well for everyone, we ask all volunteers to respect the following rules and expectations:
- Volunteers are expected to be reliable, punctual and responsible in their daily tasks.
- A positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to help where needed are essential.
- This is not a holiday: please apply only if you are ready for hands-on participation and shared responsibilities.
- Respect for the hosts, other volunteers, guests, animals and the natural environment is required at all times.
- Volunteers are expected to follow house rules, safety guidelines and instructions given by the hosts.
- Open communication is important: if there is a problem or concern, we expect volunteers to talk to us about it respectfully.
- Alcohol and drug use during scheduled activity hours is not allowed.
- This is a shared living space: everyone is responsible for keeping common areas clean and tidy.
