Mi primera vez como voluntaria y definitivamente la mejor experiencia en el hostel! El staff increíble, la tareas realmente sencilla, con horarios accesibles. Realmente voy a extrañar estar ahí y a todo la gente increíble que conocí. Recomiendo sin lugar alguna este lugar!

Increíble experiencia en el hostel!! Los chicos del staff son super amables y siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte, los turnos son rotativos lo que te permite conocer la ciudad en tu tiempo libre y las tareas son sencillas y están bien definidas para cada turno. Conoci a muchas personas e hice grandes amistades gracias a esta experiencia. Me encantó ser parte del hostel, los voy a extrañar pero espero volver pronto! Realmente recomiendo hacer tu voluntariado aquí si quieres divertirte y pasarlo bien con personas increíbles!!

The best decision I could have made was to volunteer at Santuário Hostel. The hostel accommodations are very good, the work is easy, I usually worked the night shifts and I really liked it. The whole team is amazing, I made lifelong friendships for sure. Also, I fell in love with Cartagena. I highly recommend! And I already miss my the hostel family ❤️

First experience volunteering. Love it ! The team. is really nice. Can practice a lot your spanish. Sharing the reception turn with 2 orher volunteers. Day, Evening and Night turn. Lots of days off to discover Cartagena :) Nice hostel, dorm is nice and a lot of privacy.

Great time had here! The hostel is busy so it allows you to meet lots of people, and has a super chilled vibe too. Everyone was very welcoming, hours were respected, the breakfast was good. The dorms have capsule beds so allows everyone to have really nice personal space. Location is the best, everything you need is right around the corner! One small thing - sometimes a guest staying more than 1 night might have to check-out and change beds (including us) due to the allocation, which was awkward to explain, never seen this before! System issues though, not the host. Overall 5 stars :)

I had an awesome experience here, Cartagena is amazing and so are the people. They are very welcoming and open you'll feel right at home. When I go here my Spanish was awful, it still is but they helped me get through it and improve. I still have a long road ahead of me, but I'm still appreciative of everyone I met and the experiences I had with them. Plus the hostel is pretty big and located close to everything you might need. The work is fun too, especially if you like to meet new people.

El hostel es tranquilo con buen ambiente muy próximo a la ciudad amurallada, por la noche estar afuera se pone un poco peligroso hay demasiada gente en temporada y casos de hurto. Los cubículos son muy cómodos el desayuno rico y el personal super amigable, conmigo cumplieron las horas pactadas y fue divertida mi estadía

The staff treated me very good! They were going through a transition with staffing which resulted in it being a bit unorganized. I was told that I would help with the reception but when I arrived, I was asked to help with breakfast. Towards the end of my stay, I was asked to help clean the bathrooms. Also, I was never given a schedule and had to ask multiple times and no one seemed to know the answer. Towards the end of my stay, a WhatsApp group for the volunteers was created. Overall it was a nice experience. A lot of different activities during the week and I was able to meet people.

The experience was really nice. People who work there and are super friendly and helpful they're creating a place where you want to be and participate in its life. The hostel is great, the capsules are comfortable and really private moreover you can rest and chill after a long warm day in jacuzzi. Tasks were not complicated and rather easy. Working hours were mostly during the night which is interesting because you can see a night life of the hostel. I recommend this experience!
