Estar no Santuário foi uma excelente escolha! O Hostel tem uma acomodação muito privada e ótima localização, as pessoas que trabalham lá foram super amigas e receptivas e as tarefas foram tranquilas. Estive como promotora de festas e me diverti muito! Só tenho a agradecer por esses dias em Cartagena e com certeza recomendo muito viver essa experiencia!

This was my first volunteering through Worldpackers and it was amazing! At first, I worked at the reception but then I changed for breakfast and that wasn't a problem for me. I loved doing this role. The hostel is perfectly located close to the beautiful "historical center of Cartagena", it has a good vibe and excellent facilities. I met so many amazing people during my stay and the time went past flying so fast. Thanks Santuário for the opportunity!

Foi a melhor experiencia como voluntaria. Fui bem recebida. Todos sao muitos queridos e se ajudam. Temos shifts bem organizados. Temos um otima acomodacao, cafe da manhã e lavanderia. O hostel é bem localizado e oferece varias atividades. Me senti em casa e só fui embora porque já tinha passagens compradas para outros destinos. Caso contrario gostaria de ficar mais. Agradeço por tudo e a todos.

Really great experience in the hostel! Tasks are easy and workers are great! During my stay there I met incredible people that I'm not going to forget easily! Completely recommend!!

The best decision I could have made was to volunteer at Santuário Hostel. The hostel accommodations are very good, the work is easy, I usually worked the night shifts and I really liked it. The whole team is amazing, I made lifelong friendships for sure. Also, I fell in love with Cartagena. I highly recommend! And I already miss my the hostel family ❤️

First experience volunteering. Love it ! The team. is really nice. Can practice a lot your spanish. Sharing the reception turn with 2 orher volunteers. Day, Evening and Night turn. Lots of days off to discover Cartagena :) Nice hostel, dorm is nice and a lot of privacy.

Great time had here! The hostel is busy so it allows you to meet lots of people, and has a super chilled vibe too. Everyone was very welcoming, hours were respected, the breakfast was good. The dorms have capsule beds so allows everyone to have really nice personal space. Location is the best, everything you need is right around the corner! One small thing - sometimes a guest staying more than 1 night might have to check-out and change beds (including us) due to the allocation, which was awkward to explain, never seen this before! System issues though, not the host. Overall 5 stars :)

I had an awesome experience here, Cartagena is amazing and so are the people. They are very welcoming and open you'll feel right at home. When I go here my Spanish was awful, it still is but they helped me get through it and improve. I still have a long road ahead of me, but I'm still appreciative of everyone I met and the experiences I had with them. Plus the hostel is pretty big and located close to everything you might need. The work is fun too, especially if you like to meet new people.

The staff treated me very good! They were going through a transition with staffing which resulted in it being a bit unorganized. I was told that I would help with the reception but when I arrived, I was asked to help with breakfast. Towards the end of my stay, I was asked to help clean the bathrooms. Also, I was never given a schedule and had to ask multiple times and no one seemed to know the answer. Towards the end of my stay, a WhatsApp group for the volunteers was created. Overall it was a nice experience. A lot of different activities during the week and I was able to meet people.
