U Hostel
We are the people that apply equality and we will make sure that the volunteers having fun in doing any task needed here with a proper agreement between each other. While helping and doing the task required we will make sure that they will have the experience that they will remember. Making positive impact, learn different cultures, making friends, gain new skills and contributes to each other. We also provide comfortable place to stay, to relax, chill and having fun. Our place situated in hotspot area which nearby to restaurant, bars, beach, saloon, convenient stores, pharmacy/clinic and other attractions. You will be welcomed to live here as all the locals are friendly. Come join us and live your life to the fullest.
We treat our customers, volunteers and others just like our family and friends. We do take care of each other and provides comfort, safe, fun place to stay/chill around.

It was a very good experience as a volunteer. The owners are super relaxed and understanding. I recommend having a clear conversation about the assigned tasks and schedules to avoid any misunderstandings.

I had to leave the volunteer experience earlier than planned, but throughout my stay I was treated as a real part of the family, which was very positive and meaningful. However, during the experience I felt a bit lost regarding my tasks, as there was no clear guidance or direction on how to carry them out.

The experience does not meet what the host describes in the profile nor the basic expectations of the exchange. The host’s behavior is inappropriate and changes according to his mood, creating a confusing and uncomfortable environment. Tasks were unclear and inconsistent: one day housekeeping, another day night bartending, and at another point promotion/sales in an environment involving cannabis and more, which was never agreed upon. The accommodation provided in exchange for the work was inappropriate, with poor hygiene, bad odor, dirty sheets, and a shared room without prior noti.no mujeres

I was told to come so I walked barefoot for three hours to get to the hostel.
When I showed up, the boy was eating and barely greeted or welcomed me. I was told to get a bunk in the volunteer room.
The room was messy and completely full. I went back to tell the boy and he stated that this wasn't true and there was space in the room.
I left.
I'm sure prisoners get a warmer welcome when they arrive in prison.

I definitely recommend visiting U Hostel and meeting its owners and the wonderful people who work there. They are truly amazing—kind, hospitable, and always made us feel like part of the family. We stayed in a private room for volunteers together with Lek, and they even invited us to dinner, showing great attentiveness throughout our stay. Without a doubt, I hope to return someday to visit them again. I absolutely loved the experience :)
