A party hostel with a party every night, but it is really only busy on Friday/Saturday nights. Most of the workers are local which is great if you want to practice Spanish. Many of the local workers were SO amazing, They all welcomed me and even invited me to hangout with them outside of work. Although most of the workers were great, I had a few experiences with the owner of the hostel that caused me to leave 4/5 days earlier than planned. I was there 2 weeks and not once did he speak a single word to me even when he was at the party every night. Continually yelled at my boss to yell at me.

El staff con el que interactué fue siempre amable, y pude hacer amistad con otros voluntarios y trabajadores con quienes compartí muy buenos momentos. Durante mi estancia percibí un ambiente poco amable hacia los voluntarios. Varios empleados (de recepción, bar, cocina y limpieza) tuvieron actitudes groseras y constantemente recalcaban que “no somos huéspedes”, lo que generaba un trato desigual y una sensación de hostilidad.

La habitación estaba sucia y no se ofrecía apoyo del personal para mantenerla en mejores condiciones. Además, había áreas restringidas para los voluntarios y el restaurante daba prioridad total a los huéspedes, haciendo que las comidas tardaran.
El encargado de voluntarios y la de
marketing fueron poco amables.

La experiencia en the point fue muy buena. El intercambio pactado se cumple, el horario es en la noche por lo que hay tiempo libre en las tardes para recorrer. El desayuno y almuerzo son muy ricos y lo mejor es el staff, en general son todos muy amables. Mirla es una gran compañera y sabe comunicarse muy bien.

Lastima que al final estando ya en viaje hacia Mancora nos comunicaron que había un problema y no nos podían recibir.
