SER FAUNA

Necesitamos de tu ayuda para cuidar, alimentar y proveer bienestar a los animales silvestres rescatados del tráfico de fauna y accidentes urbanos, a su vez poder sembrar frutas y verduras en nuestro huerto agroecológico con el objetivo de poder realizar una dieta equilibrada para cada animal que alberga el refugio.

Estamos abiertos para que puedas realizar algún tipo de proyecto enfocados en la naturaleza (charlas, talleres, capacitaciones, etc).

Somos un grupo de voluntarios dedicados al cuidado y la protecion de la fauna silvestre creado hace 14 años. Nuestro refugio tiene varios proyectos : Tenemos muchas actividades para desarrollar y aprenderás muchas cosas sobre el cuidado de los animales y su nutrición, y tu ayuda será muy importante. Si amas a los animales, el voluntariado sin duda será muy emocionante y rico en aprendizaje.

A very cool experience! The tasks were always communicated very clearly and weren’t too difficult. Daniela is very nice and very committed to the animals and their wellbeing.

The project’s goal is really admirable and I could really notice how dedicated the organisation was to create a good environment for their rescue animals. The animals are lovely and it’s meaningful to be able to be any sort of help.

Daniela is very nice and works very hard. The animals are cute and well treated, I liked preparing food for them.
The work is not too demanding but someday the weather is really hot and there are quite a lot of mosquitoes.

A truly rewarding week volunteering at the animal protection center! Yes, the work is tough and conditions are basic-but that's exactly what makes the mission so vital and inspiring. Spending 5 hours each day helping care for the animals was a powerful lesson in compassion and dedication. My deepest thanks to the amazing staff. This experience was challenging in the best way possible, and I'm leaving with a full heart and immense respect for everyone who supports this wonderful cause.
Plus: be prepared to the mosquitoes, which is I suffered all the time when I was there:(

El voluntariado en ser fauna fue principalmente hacer las fiestas y meriendas para los animales que están en el refugio
Luego ya de acabar las tareas con los animales...no hay gran cosa por hacer y en los alrededores del refugio tampoco hay gran cosa por hacer
El refugio está un poco a las afueras de santa cruz y habría que moverse en buses para ir al centro
