Hello, I am Tahsin. I finally realized my long-time dream of opening my own hostel. A little about myself, I have been in the tourism industry for many years and have worked with hundreds of volunteers. Additionally, I have also volunteered in various countries around the world using Workaway. Now, it's time for me to find volunteers for myself, we are a quiet and peaceful hostel located only 3 minutes away from the center of this magnificent and beautiful island. Não fui recebida por ele.
Uma voluntária me recebeu.
O lugar é uma bagunça, muito sujo, quarto bagunçado, banheiro (voluntários) alagado, sem água quente e com a luz queimada.
A falta de cuidado e condições de higiene fizeram com que eu não me sentisse à vontade para ficar.
Tirei fotos e gravei o lugar, iria ficar 49 dias mas, não consegui nem me acomodar e meus planos tiveram que mudar.
Falei com o anfitrião que não estava à vontade, pedi desculpas e informei minha decisão e ele aceitou tranquilamente.

La experiencia en el hostel fue muy buena, super tranquila donde mayormente las tareas son de recepción y atención a los huéspedes. Te permite tener mucho tiempo para disfrutar de la isla. Volvería sin dudas!

The Phangan Barsay Hostel became my home. I made beautiful connections, and Tashin is an excellent host, always willing to help and enjoy being with everyone. This opportunity brought me joy: teaching dance classes, doing yoga every morning, and enjoying the island, a perfect place to connect with myself. It definitely exceeded my expectations. ✨
This was my first volunteer experience, and it was incredible in so many ways. I highly recommend the hostel and the island of Koh Phangan.

My time at Phangan Barsay Hostel was truly a stroke of luck, thanks to the wonderful host! I had the incredible opportunity to connect with a fantastic group of volunteers. We collaborated on tasks, shared many laughs, and simply had a blast. Beyond the fun, I gained valuable experience working reception, learned some new dance moves, and even got into yoga. It was an unforgettable experience with friends who felt like family.
