I had an incredible experience at OTH and absolutely loved volunteering there. The hostel is very centrally located, cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped — it truly has everything you could need. The staff and guests were amazing, it was easy to socialise and make genuine connections; I met wonderful people who I can now call friends. The hostel even provided us with some food, which was very much appreciated. I also joined several tours organized by the hostel. I had plenty of time to explore the Algarve, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. Thank you so much, Roy and Aline! 🧡

I had the time of my life at OTH! Roy and Aline (and of course Sunny!) are amazing hosts who truly care about their volunteers and also love to spend time with us😍 also I really liked the work at the hostel, as you get to meet so much people from all over the world. After this experience I know I have a second home in Portugal♥️ #OTHFamily #sunsettour♥️

I enjoy the most that after my workday, I could go to the beach because it's a five-minute walk away. I really enjoyed the Algarve in general thanks to having two or three days off together, so I was able to travel locally a lot, that was the best part.
Sunny (the hostel's beautiful dog) is the cutest living being on earth; he's a sweet little angel. I'll miss him so much.

One of the best experiences of my life! I spent a month at Orange Terrace Hostel for my first volunteering adventure, and it couldn’t have been better. The hostel is super nice and always clean, and the staff and owners are absolute gems – they make you feel like part of the family. The work is really chill, and you have lots of free time to explore the city, meet new people, or just relax. I’m so grateful for this experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to volunteer! :)))))))

I spent the whole month of July at Orange Terrace Hostel and I honestly couldn’t have dreamed of a better place. The team is incredibly welcoming, kind and generous — they truly make you feel at home from day one. The energy of the place is so special: calm, cozy, and vibrant all at once. Guests come in as strangers and leave as friends (and it’s not just a slogan — it’s real!). I’m deeply grateful for everything I’ve experienced here. It’s a place you’ll carry in your heart long after you leave.
