You can explore the area which is the second largest amount of hot spring water discharge in the world, and the largest amount in Japan. Please come and enjoy hot spring in Beppu with us.

We have both local staff and foreigner staff with long experience of hostel business and volunteers.So you can talk with us if you have issue about living in Japan or any issue is fine.

I really enjoyed my two weeks here! The work is easy and often finished before noon. Beppu and the surrounding area are lovely, and I was able to explore a good part of it during my free time !

Beppu it's a great place, and also the Hostel. All the time they supported me, and the work it's so easy to do it. It's a great experience.

And you have a lot of places near to Beppu to know.

My experience was great! Masa answered any questions about the tasks that were given and was also very accommodating and respectful. He gave us a couple recommendations on nearby restaurants and different activities as well it was very helpful and kind of him to share! The tasks and schedules matched what was explained some days we’d even finish early! During my experience I made a lot of new friends and got to meet so many cool people from different backgrounds, it was definitely an Amazing first solo trip and one I’ll never forget!

The manager was kind as other reviews say. However, a few issues made me uncomfortable and I left after one day.
A man stared at me, later entered my locked private room, when momentarily opened, and followed me to the kitchen. The manager was apologetic and understanding during our talk but since the man was a regular customer, he just asked him to apologise which didn’t feel reassuring for me.
No locked showers only public baths.
Cleanliness observations:
- small bugs & used tissues under my bed
- Pillowcases used to clean bathroom sinks
- blanket covers not changed
- toilet smells

I really enjoyed the month I spent here volunteering, both hosts, Kot and masatoshi were really friendly , helpful and also just nice people! I like that it's set times and I got my full schedule for the month on the day I arrived so I was able to plan things to explore. I made some.good friends in the other volunteers and the people staying there. I would go back again for sure
