Onda Surf Hostel is family before a hostel, a friendly environment for volunteer from all over the world. We are welcoming you with open hands to our hostel in Taghazout, Morocco. A place where you can help, learn, laugh, enjoy, meet new people, open up to a different culture and have good food :).

We expect from a traveller to give us a hand in the kitchen, cleaning, groceries and Check-Ins with the guests. In exchange for a place to stay with another volunteer who will be giving a hand in the hostel as well. Also, we provide you with food, surf classes (if you need), surf equipments, and excursions that we organize at our surf camp for guests.

I volunteered at Onda Surf Hostel for a month and really enjoyed the vibe. The hostel has a really good vibe, the guests are easy to connect with and the tasks were light: mostly breakfasts, beds, and check-ins when I was at the hostel.
I loved joining activities like sandboarding, the traditional dinner, and surfing with Zouhair.

The schedule was a bit different than I first imagined, so I’d recommend clarifying expectations, but overall it was a great experience to meet people and enjoy the surf lifestyle.

I loved my stay at onda! I met great people and was able to enjoy a beautiful surfer village, the sun, the ocean and good vibes. Everyone welcomed me kindly and if I needed something it was easy to reach out to the manager. There are a couple of different small tasks throughout the day but work was very manageable in general! Thank you for everything 🫶🏼

Volunteering at Ondawas an unforgettable experience. There wasn't a single boring day, thanks to an amazing team and great people around. The vibe was always positive, with plenty of opportunities to meet travelers from all over the world. The city itself is lively, and I loved the balance between social moments and time to relax by the beach. Definitely a place that feels like home. Thank you everyone <3

Grateful for my time at Onda. Though the group of volunteers and Siham were able to work well together, adapt to different working hours and circumstances, and create a good work environment. We had some challenges and were able to overcome as a team.

I am glad I got to work on the instagram for the hostel-- I felt like it was a learning experience and I was able to grow in the position. Siham was clear in communicating what she expected for the social media position.

One of the best things is the hostel dinner! Loved all the people, the food, and memories at Onda.

I would like to emphasize that my experience could have been significantly improved if the shift schedules and consecutive days off after work had been respected. Ultimately, I decided to withdraw from the experience and find a hostel on my own. However, I am grateful to the Worldpackers support team, who were always willing to address the issues and provide assistance whenever needed.

Hello so first you can't have a day off before finishing 1 week of volunteering, and for us we can't tell you what to do all day. We post the work we have each day and you have the responsibility of managing your day. When you come to me mad and screaming for no reason and not able to communicate only wanted to talk loudly, it wasn’t over for me and didn’t think of telling you to leave just asked you to chill for a bit until ur mind is clear then we can talk but you decided to pack and leave 0 responsible so now don’t blame us on ur behaviours
