never at home Kloof Street
We are professional yet fun. We will always go out of our way to make sure that our volunteers experience Cape Town in the best possible way. The activities that they will be assisting us with are fun so doesn't feel like 'work' more like 'exploring' and who wouldn't want to explore our magical Mother-City.
Our dream team are a friendly bunch. They are used to having volunteers at the property and therefore know how best to direct and support them.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at Never@Home. The team is incredibly welcoming, especially Nique and Ruth, who make you feel like part of the family from day one. The environment is super organized and vibrant. The tasks are clearly defined, the shifts are well-structured, and the hostel delivers exactly what is promised in the job description. On top of that, Cape Town is a wonderful city, extremely welcoming, full of life, and with an incredible variety of things to do. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to meet new people while having support from management!

I have no words to describe what my experience volunteering at this hostel was like. It was so special!!! I felt so loved and so welcomed by the entire team that all I can say to anyone considering applying for this position is: apply now! About the work: it doesn’t feel like work at all! All the activities are fun and help you build connections with people from all over the world. Never@Home is the best hostel in town, and time flies by so fast, so make sure to enjoy every single moment! Thank you Nique, for being the best leader I could ever ask for, and to the whole team!

I am so grateful that I got to be a volunteer at this beautiful place.
From the moment I arrived I immediatly felt welcomed and at home. Everyone is super kind and takes care of you 😊 thank you!!
The volunteer tasks where all so much fun, you go on hikes, vine tastings, visit markets, have traditional Braais and much more.
The location is also great, you stay in the middle of capetown with many restaurants and bars - plus it is safe here!
I would 100% recommmend this volunteer program to everyone, because you will meet amazing people here and have the chance to discover capetown ☀️

Volunteering at Never@Home was truly an amazing experience that I would absolutely recommend to anyone! The employees are incredibly nice and fun to talk to and Nique is always making sure the Volunteers are well and happy. The activities don’t really feel like work, especially because you get to do them with other Volunteers. There's lots to do in the area, which is safe in general, but it’s easy to reach other parts of cape town as well. I've met the most amazing people during my stay and would absolutely come back to do this again!

Experiência excelente no Hostel! Todas as expectativas que eu tinha foram correspondidas ou superadas! Desde o momento em que cheguei fui super bem tratado e tive um suporte da equipe quase que 24/7. Mesmo assim, tive autonomia para realizar as atividades, sem a necessidade de ser microgerenciado. A acomodação não deixou em nada a desejar: cama confortável, roupas de cama e banho rigidamente higienizadas. Além disso, o Hostel é muito bem organizado. Agradecimento especial a Nique que tornou essa experiência incrível!
