Our place is a short bike ride to Fremantle's beautiful beaches and vibrant lifestyle and an accessible launching pad to get set up for, or finish off, your Australian adventure

We are a small family of 3 who value connection, communication and collaboration. We love sharing ideas and skills and learning from each other. We lead a pretty simple and quiet lifestyle so this will not be a late night, party place (though sharing some food and a couple of quiet drinks is totally okay with us).

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was such a peaceful place to live in, the vibe was relaxed and welcoming. Pavel, Querida, and Lumen are a lovely little family and I wish them the best! When staying here you get to help them renovate their dream home while staying at a great location only a 10 min bike away from the beach. You definitely have time to explore Fremantle and spend your afternoons at the beach. I stayed here over Christmas and the house was filled with previous backpackers that came back for a little reunion. It ended up being a very cute beachy Christmas :))

I had the absolute best time here! I stayed for a month and felt super comfortable and truly welcome from the very first day. The family and the other volunteers were amazing and the connections I made mean so much to me. I will definitely be coming back!

Pavel and Querida have a lovely home and are very welcoming! Facilities were great and easily felt like home, it was also lovely to be in the house at the same time as other backpackers!

The tasks we were asked to complete were really interesting and I have definitely learnt a lot from doing them! Pavel was very helpful when it came to demonstrating how to do something - it was a lovely environment where we all learnt from each other and had independence and flexibility when completing the tasks.

Had an absolutely wonderful time and would definitely come back, even just for a chat (multiple people have done this while I’ve been here). You are treated with respect here and it is a genuine pleasure to talk with the other guests and especially the hosts. They are a truly lovely family who are willing to go above and beyond to help you. Great vibes the entire time.
