We are a hostel in Lisbon, Portugal that is ranked as one of the highest ranked hostels in the world for atmosphere--atmosphere that YOU, as a Worldpacker, create! In return for your work entertaining our guests, planning events, and just keeping the hostel in order, each of our staff members receive free accommodation in our private staff room, free laundry, FREE breakfast, FREE dinner and FREE drinks at our bar.

I stayed at the G Spot Hostel for a whole month, and it truly felt like home. From the very first day I felt welcomed and cared for by the amazing staff- Renata, Kip, Saulo and Izzy, who were always kind, helpful, and there whenever I needed them. They felt more like friends than coworkers. The hostel is cozy, full of good energy and has a warm atmosphere that makes connecting with people feel natural and easy (especially during happy hour 😌). I can’t recommend it enough! To everyone one there- thank you for making my stay so unforgettable! Already miss each and every one of you! 🫶

I really enjoyed my time spent here with the amazing people I met!! The tasks are easy and there’s plenty of free time to explore. Izzy is a great host and the reception team, Renata, Saulo and Kip are amazing 💗 10/10 would highly recommend!!

I had an awesome time at the Gspot! It was my first time volunteering so I was definitely nervous about how I was going to be greeted and built into the team, but I felt so welcomed from the moment I stepped into the hostel! It really felt like being apart of a big family! From the happy hour shifts to sharing a pizza with the staff at the end of the day! The hours are totally respected and the work is really easy.The moment I realized what a special connection I‘ve built up with everyone was when I needed to say goodbye to everybody! But I will definitely come back and recommend coming here!

I had an absolutely great time here. Other staff, volunteers and the managers made me feel welcomed as soon as I got there, and I ended up having the best month of my travels there. The hours were good and fair, with a lot of time off as well which gave me time to explore Portugal. Overall, I can’t complain about anything. Would definitely recommend it to everyone! Izzy the manager was an absolute legend and is there to help all the time, it really is such a great environment to work in. It helped that the facilities were clean as well with a nice kitchen, which helps a lot! 10/10 experience!
