Thank you for everything I experienced in the hostel! Especially, I want to say a big thanks to Merel. She is so nice and kind as well as helping me a lot. As a volunteer in Dutchies, I am glad to meet people from all over the world. People are friendly and the vibe is great. Let's come and enjoy the lively hostel.

I had a wonderful stay at Dutchies Hostel.
The hostel is not only beautiful but also comfortable, and it's ideally located next to a large park and not far from the city center.
The team is fantastic, and the manager, Merel, who also coordinates volunteers, is excellent and genuinely lovely.
Everyone there is very open and flexible.
I highly recommend this experience!

This was my first experience and I loved it! All the staff were really nice to me. The hostel is well organized and the working hours are respected. The work wasn't hard and the tasks were simple. I really enjoyed my stay at Dutchies hostel :)

Due to vacation we missed the deadline to write a review for Eduarda, but by replying here we would like to stress how happy we were with Eduarda as a volunteer in the hostel! She is kind and always helpful, 100% recommend!

It was an OK experience. It depends on how THEY deal with you.
I worked 95h/month for a 6-bed dorm (every room has AC EXCEPT the one for volunteers 😅).
Others worked 3h of REALLY light cleaning, 6 days/week. I was doing 3h NON-STOP making 25 beds like an employee.
They told me about a 440€ DISCOUNT, but gave me 70€ 😅
Basically, you work to cover hostel rent. Overall it’s OK, but I DON’T recommend making deals with them.
Btw, staying in AMSTERDAM is nice , and they give volunteers a BIKE 🚲 (you’ll need it , it's far from city center)
All the team and even owners are nice people🤍

I would like to point out that from the get go, before you got to us, we have been completely transparent about what the hours would be and what it would look like - you had every possibility to refuse then.

Overall, we were happy with you as a volunteer and wish you the best.
