Crystal Waters Permaculture village

Nature lovers love it here, the village is Land for Wildlife, no chemicals, no dogs, cats, no guns. We are a mature muso duo, 1 clean living, 1 not. We speak fluent English, French, German between us. We have a cockatiel, fruit trees, gardens, and lovely neighbours. We aim to provide a variety of experiences.
Dada was a yoga and meditation teacher. and is happy to share.

We have traveled extensively and speak English, French, German, we love to meet and work with people.

Community activities include table tennis, Yoga, martial arts, circle dance, monthly market, Friday pizza, movies, monthly concerts. The Green Lotus cafe is open Thurs-Monday 8 AM - 2 PM.
Paid work may be availale in the comunity for good workers.

We ask volunteers to work in the AM, very early if very hot. We provide food you mostly cook your own in your own time. We are flexible and adapt the work to skills, strengths of volunteer, the weather etc.. Please do not use phone in common places, at least use earplugs. This is not the place to come to if you must be on your phone all day. We provide for vegetarians, however Vegans must provide their own food (and only work 15 hrs/week) If on your own, a bit isolated without a car, although we lend bikes. Also, absolutely no tobacco here.

I had an amazing experience in the volunteer . It was a lot of fun, the hosts created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and it felt really special to meet the people from the town and explore the surrounding area. We truly enjoyed the work and the time we spent there.

Staying at Francoise and Dadas place was an amazing experience. We loved getting to know them and enjoyed the time we had in Crystal Waters. All sorts of activities you can take part in with the community and just a beautiful place all in all.

My time at Crystal Waters Permaculture Village was amazing. As a whole the community is very interesting and inspiring. There are frequently community events including yoga classes, meditation groups, concerts, and ping pong.

Francoise and Dada were great hosts. They are incredibly kind, caring, good at communication, and a pleasure to converse with.

The area is very pretty and within an hour in any direction, there are things to explore including national parks, the Australia zoo and beautiful beaches.

Françoise and Dada are very kind and artistic people. Most days while working in their garden you can hear them making music. They are easygoing, flexible, and easy to communicate with. Crystal Waters is a uniquely wonderful community full of people with a lot of love for the world. Françoise is well connected with the neighbors and has helped me to meet many new people. I highly recommend staying and working with them.

Francoise & Dada were fantastic hosts! They were so welcoming & inviting, hosting us for dinner a few nights of our stay and helping us join in with local community events. The work is interesting and varied, with different tasks everyday to keep you engaged and constantly learning. We tried a lot of locally made community produce, which they loved to supply and teach us the processes - Francoise’s kombucha is to die for! Overall a really interesting stay!
