We’re a small, friendly and family-run hostel located right in the heart of the city — surrounded by colorful streets, cafés, markets, and historic sites.

As a volunteer, you’ll support us mainly with social media and content creation, helping portray our hostel life, tours, scooter adventures, and services in an authentic way. At the same time, you’ll enjoy a relaxed and social atmosphere, connect with travelers from all over the world, practice languages, and develop creative skills.

During your stay, you’ll have plenty of free time and access to great discounts on tours, scooter rentals, and selected experiences, as well as discounts at our small store. You’ll also benefit from insider travel tips for Nicaragua from a local and an expat with many years of experience in tourism. The result is a balanced exchange of creativity, freedom, and local discovery — all in one of Nicaragua’s most beautiful cities. ✨

We are a small, family-operated team that values kindness, respect, fair communication, and mutual support. You can expect a friendly and welcoming environment where everyone helps each other and where the hostel truly feels like home. 💛 We strongly believe that volunteering should never replace a local paid position. As a small and still-growing hostel, we currently don’t have the capacity to hire a dedicated professional for social media and marketing. Having a volunteer in this role is therefore a supportive extra, not a replacement — helping a small local business strengthen its visibility while continuing to pay fair wages to our local staff. Volunteers are treated as part of the team from day one. We explain tasks clearly, stay available for questions, and work together to create a space where you can feel comfortable, confident, and appreciated. We enjoy collaborating with people who are open, proactive, and enjoy creative exchange. Our goal is that you not only support us, but also have a meaningful cultural experience, feel truly welcome in the team, and enjoy your time both inside and outside the hostel.
