Balarm Hostel

We offer a unique experience in the hospitality sector in a young and motivated team in beautiful Sicily (Palermo). We offer free accommodation and meals or money for food. Looking forward to meeting you!

The volunteers will work five days/week, five hours/day; will sleep all togheter in the staff rooms (with external bathroom and shower); will receive their meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or money to buy it. They can use the hostel fully equipped kitchen and have free wi-fi connection everywhere.

It was a great time to spend in Balarm Hostel. The location in the city center is wonderful, and there are a lot of nice towns nearby to visit. I met some wonderful volunteers and the management was also nice. Thylanka and Hassan were always smiley and helpful and if I had some question, Max was open to answer every time.
However in the staff room there were only a few wall socket and I needed to charge my powerbank in the common spaces, and finally I lost it :( I think it would have been important to buy some extension cord. Anyway I recommend the hostel to everyone.

Excelente lugar para vacacionar y aprender un poco más de la cultura de Palermo, esta muy bien ubicada, se respetan los horarios de voluntariado y se puede convivir en armonia en equipo, muy agradecida de lo vivido, lamentablemente me tuve que ir antes de lo previsto por una emergencia pero sin duda me senti comoda en el voluntariado hay flexibilidad en horarios y comprension de parte del host, Bendiciones y muchos éxitos ✨️✨️ espero volver a verlos 💕

Este fue mi primer voluntariado y la experiencia fue excelente. Desde el primer día me sentí muy cómoda: todos fueron súper amables y me hicieron sentir como en casa. Las tareas son sencillas, los turnos están bien organizados y además queda bastante tiempo libre durante el día para conocer Palermo y disfrutar de la ciudad.
