This opportunity was one of the best things I’ve ever done. The staff helped you fit right in and explained all the roles perfectly. The hostel itself is amazing, the community around it is even better. I would highly recommend this place!

Ashanti and Cape Town will always have a special place in my heart. This place became a real home to me and I'm so grateful I got to experience all of it. Big thanks to all the beautiful people -volunteers, staff, guests- that I got to meet and spend so much fun time with. I am leaving with nothing but a deep sense of connection and the happiest memories which I know I will cherish forever.

My time at staying and working at Ashanti was incredible and I will never forget the memories I made. The staff was welcoming, kind, and made the hostel feel like home. I met so many amazing people and other travelers at the hostel and in Cape Town and could not recommend this experience to other solo-travelers more!
