Algarve Hostel by Sweet Spot for us
Wether you are a traveler to explore portuguese culture or you are a digital nomad, we can provide you good accommodation and in exchange of 4h per day, helping our team at the Hostel, with 2 days off.
Maximum that we accept is 2 volunteers each time.
If you are looking for a party hostel, this is not the choice for you.
You can use all the facilities of the hostel for free, there is a very good free wi-fi, you can meet people around the world and explore the location, living in downtown of Faro. Self service laundry available with payment.

Minha experiência foi maravilhosa! O hostel é bem legal, as escalas são respeitadas e o trabalho é super tranquilo. Além disso, o staff é incrível.
Poderia haver um pouco mais de manutenções e melhorias pra deixar o ambiente 100%, principalmente em relação ao calor, mas nada que estrague a experiência.
Me senti em casa, voltaria com certeza! Recomendo :)

This was my first volunteering experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start! Algarve Hostel became my second home. The team was welcoming and supportive from day one, so I felt really comfortable during my stay.
I learned about how a hostel runs. I developed new skills and gained confidence in dealing with guests from all over the world. The environment was relaxed and friendly, and I had the chance to meet amazing people who made the experience special. I’m really grateful for everything and everyone.
I'll always carry you all in my heart, and I hope I can come back!

O hostel possui um espaço muito bom, a cozinha é bem equipada, os quartos também são grandes. Definitivamente, a melhor parte do hostel é o rooftop: um ótimo ambiente, bastante arejado e excelente para os dias de calor intenso.
A Catarina explicou detalhadamente como as atividades no hostel deveriam ser feitas, foi muito clara e rápida para responder quando algo de inesperado acontecia.
A Paula e a Celine também são muito gente boa, sempre ajudavam quando era preciso e possuem uma excelente comunicação.
Foi uma experiência bem tranquila, definitivamente, faria novamente.
