This course gives a basic overview of what to expect from a hostel type host, with tips on what to do before your stay, the first days and during your stay. My main three takeaways are to always stay positive, be proactive and ask questions as much and as soon as you can.

I would recommend this course as a basic introduction to hostels, especially when youre unsure about what exactly to write in an application if you want to work in a hostel. It is straightforward and makes you think about your own strengths and where you could apply them, as well as skills that you may still want to improve on. Definitely makes the application process less scary!
