As someone who is very interested in opportunities at hostels, this was very useful. As I have already visited hostels I know how they work, but it was very helpful to learn about the working side of it and what my responsibilities would be as a volunteer. Hopefully I can use all this knowledge through a volunteering opportunity soon! :-)
