La experiencia

We are looking for volunteers to assist at our Halfway House. As a Volunteer at Lifesong Kenya you support us and the boys during our daily life. And accompany the boys during daily tasks and activities like cooking, sports and games. Your Tasks can involve teaching about life skills and languages. You can also assist in our projects like bicycle repair, upcycling wine bottles or candle making.

Que ofreces?

18 horas de ayuda por semana

Enseñanza de Idiomas: Enseñar un idioma al anfitrión, a los invitados o a las comunidades locales.

Cocina: Prepara las comidas para los huéspedes.

Enseñanza de Deportes: Enseñar o ayudar al anfitrión, los invitados o las comunidades locales a practicar deportes o actividades físicas.

Trabajo Social: Ayuda como voluntario en proyectos locales y comunidades.

Valor: US$ 10 Por dia

Descripción: Volunteers are kindly asked to contribute a nominal fee to help cover their accommodation expenses. This contribution assists in maintaining a comfortable living space, ensuring that essential amenities and meals are provided, and covering utility costs, such as water and electricity.

Reglas

We ask volunteers to maintain honesty, integrity and responsibility when engaging in our programs.

Please do NOT give money to our boys, their families or in the community. The same applies to giving money to staff, interns or volunteers either to appreciate or reward their service at our organization. Should you feel compelled to give anything, please coordinate with your volunteer coordinator who will advise on the right course of action, this helps us in holding each other accountable.
