The project is truly special, especially since the project is still in its early stages. There's so much to create, so everything you do really makes a difference. I do have to say: it's best to only come here when you have an opportunity to financially support. My personal experience was magical: Maggy, Emmanuel, and their kids made me feel so welcome. We did tons of fun things, they help with everything and they cared for me incredibly well when I got sick. The house is lovely, near the beach, with a big room and they really offer you so much free time, they really respect you. I will miss it! ☀

The location was great, the children were wonderful, and the room was decent. Unfortunately, the Worldpackers profile did not match the environment we arrived in. There was nothing to do for three weeks except play with the children. No financial contributions were supposed to be required. Then, we agreed on an arrangement of €15 per person per week, but this apparently was not enough, as the host withdrew our train tickets on the day of our departure. This the project is not looking for volunteers; it's looking for donors. I recommend it only if you are one, but I wouldn't recommend the host

To prospective hosts, beware of entitled volunteers who masquerade as contributors. This individual together with his so called girlfriend were hosted stayed for 3 weeks, found the experience lacking, and now seeks to tarnish reputations. If the arrangement was untenable, why prolong the stay? €15/person/week was agreed upon, yet deemed insufficient. Let's be clear: hosts are not travel agencies, nor are they obligated to facilitate your itinerary. Genuine volunteers contribute meaningfully;

🚩 Catastrophic experience (only suitable if you are willing to give money). Almost everything advertised was missing: no Wi‑Fi, no training or equipment, no health awareness activities, and almost no material for children. Extra fees were constantly requested despite everything being presented as included. Working with the children was the only positive part. Volunteers who did not make financial donations were made very uncomfortable and clearly unwelcome. After we left, the host took our train tickets in an attempt to prevent us from leaving the city. Avoid.

You say that there is no health awareness and you're pictured smiling at a child with cerebral palsy.why take the kids to the beach and you take pictures of them being naked?I believe you can't do that in France Kenya is not a zoo we are a country led by firm principles.Be professional and Give honest reviews.your stay was "catastrophic"Why did you stay for three weeks in if at all there was nothing you were doing?.Just be real with yourselves first and you'll go far.You are so young to hate!

I never expected this to turn out so well. I was already very happy that Emanuel was willing to welcome me for one or two days, as I wasn't able to commit to more at first. What started small unfolded into something truly beautiful. I was warmly received, and we immediately started working together. What Emanuel and his family do for the project deeply touched me, so I decided to return for several more days. Together with Emanuel and his wife, we started a small project to support the neighborhood through funding I organized. They truly warmed my heart, and they will definitely see me again

Our stay with Esther was short but with a great impact. She easily blended with not only the host family but also the people around her especially the young children.Thank you for sharing your time with us we really appreciate the connection we made and we hope to host you again.😊
