We’re looking for a friendly and reliable person to help with night reception duties (9 p.m.–1 a.m.), welcoming guests, and keeping the hostel tidy. You’ll also support our social media by creating content and sharing ideas to show the fun side of hostel life.

Programa detallado

Hostelle is a women-only hostel in Amsterdam focused on creating a safe, creative, and welcoming space for travelers. Our volunteer program allows you to be part of our small international team, helping with night reception duties, light tasks, and social media content creation. In exchange, you’ll get accommodation, access to hostel events, and the opportunity to gain real hospitality experience in a friendly, community-focused environment.

Actividades & Turnos

You’ll work around 24 hours per week, with 3 to 4 night shifts from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Your tasks include:

- Welcoming and checking in late guests

- Keeping the reception and common areas tidy

- Helping with light cleaning or organizing tasks

- Creating or capturing content for our social media (Instagram/TikTok)

- Supporting the team with occasional hostel activities or events

You’ll have 2 days off per week, and shifts are planned in advance for flexibility.

Reglas

- Be reliable, present, and proactive — we value a “can-do” attitude

- Arrive on time and stay responsible during your shift

- Respect quiet hours and maintain a calm, friendly atmosphere at night

- Keep shared spaces clean and tidy

- No alcohol or partying during shifts

- Minimum stay: 1.5 months (6 weeks)

- Maximum stay: 3 months (12 weeks)
