I stayed at the hostel volunteering for a month. I worked five days a week, two days a week I did housekeeping and the other three I was on breakfast shift. I really enjoyed my stay. I shared room with two other volunteers. The rooms are big and spacious, so you have enough personal space. Everyone was welcoming and helpful and I very much recommend volunteering here!

The location is lovely, in a charming neighborhood near various tourist attractions, and the food offered is delicious! However, I found the workload challenging. For instance, one day I was asked to clean nine rooms in just two hours, which felt excessive. Additionally, the distribution of tasks varied; some volunteers had lighter duties while others faced heavier ones. I believe it would be helpful to review the work organization to ensure equal opportunities for all. Thank you for the chance to participate! Best regards, Paloma

Was a wonderful experience. Is in a good place, very central, you can go to many places only walking. Furthermore, the underground/overground, transport lines, museums and a beautiful park are close. You will have the opportunity to work with people around the world, for me that was my favorite part. The food is very tasty and the rooms are comfortable. Sometimes for some people, the job can be hard, so, it depends on your own experience, but always you can talk about it, the staff always are pending that you are well, they even take care of you from the bad guests that always exist.

I absolutely loved getting to know the other volunteers - there is definitely a great community there. I will say that there are some clear issues from the top down. I think that the management are trying their best and were lovely to work with. But I raised issues about not feeling respected and uncomfortable and anxious in the work place - and while they verbally supported me, were never fully addressed and pushed to the side. Again, the management was working hard, but there is too much work from head office being put on the management and volunteers. Valuable experience, but stressful.

Very cool volunteering experience here! Meeting people from around the world is so enjoyable; especially when you talk deeper with them. The location is near Hyde Park and Paddinton which makes it very convenient to explore London. Bed rooms and meals are acceptable, but don't expect having your own single cozy room and five star hotel dinner. The jobs are not difficult, but you need to pay effort and don't try to fool around (the manager and your fellow volunteers will find out and you'll end up in a poor situation). I really enjoy the friendship between me and the volunteers/residents!

The hosts in the hostel were very friendly. Isabel makes sure every volunteer feels comfortable in their experience. They offer two meals a day which saved me some money. I can also use kitchens and laundry rooms. Cleaning kitchens and toilets is our main job. Sometimes we get really upset by the selfish tenants because they don't know how to respect the cleaners. Working six days a week isn't very nice if you want to explore more of London or farther places in England. However, I became life-long friends with other volunteers here; this made my experience wonderful

It was my first volunteer experience and I am sure I chose the best place for it. Both the staff and volunteers were very kind and supportive to me. I recommend this place to make new friends and enjoy London as the location is perfect.

I spent one and a half month in the hostel and it was an fantastic! the hostel is an amazing place to meet locals and international travelers, to discover London and to practice English. I will go back, as a volunteer or resident!

It was such an amazing experience! I improved my English and I met so many nice people from everywhere in the world. Isabel, Sana and Franco were really nice and kind to me. The job is fair and I had a good time with my new friends. I'm thankful for everything and I would definitely come back again.
