It was my first experience as a volunteer and it was incredible. I had never worked in hospitality before and I can say that I learned a lot about teamwork and customer service. The work is not difficult, but you need to be dedicated and responsible. Many people count on you to deliver a good work. The team at the hostel/Paddington are amazing. I want to especially thank Isabel, Susanna and Aliou Barry who gave me all the support when I needed it. It's a wonderful experience for you to make many friends from around the world and get to know the city. Thank you, the hostel Team, see you soon!

The volunteering was great, the responsibilities and schedules were respected and the meals were well served. I connected with several travellers from all over the world and had a lot of fun during my stay.

Thank you to the hostel team for the trust, I'm glad this was my first volunteer experience cause I really enjoyed, in general the staff were very friendly, kind and helpful; tasks and hours were clear and respected, on top you get nice recommendations of things to do around the city. The place is well located and easy to commute around the area. Finally, I got to meet and work with amazing people that I can now call my friends ! So I would recommend this host for you experience.

It was a fantastic experience, I am grateful to Franco, Isabel and Sana for the opportunity they gave me to be part of their team. Such an amazing experience! the team in the hostel is lovely, and kindly helps with any issue you may have. also, the tasks are very reasonable and can be perfectly completed in the time stabilised, in addition to this, the tasks are very easy ti perform and when you are done you still have plenty of time and energy to explore the city!! thank u for everything, the hostel!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I had an incredible experience volunteer at the hostel. An excellent opportunity to explore London. The hostel is in a sweet spot, close to parks museums, landmarks and nearby attractions, also transportation is great. The work was simple and hours were respected, Isabel and Franco (managers) are great and open to suggestions and willing to help you anytime, if you need anything to make your job better. Shoutout to the awesome crew of volunteers and receptionists very friendly and attentive. Food was also great. I felt like home and I'd do it again. I highly recommend to volunteer here.

It was my first experience of volunteering. The work corresponds to the description and information given at the interview. The staff are good listeners. I enjoyed the teamwork. You meet international travellers so you can improve your English and also your Spanish. I recommend this place to visit London.

This was my first volunteer experience and I felt so lucky to be offered a position at the hostel. I really appreciated the clear communication even from the first moment of the interview. I knew exactly what was expected and what was being offered, so there were no surprises. Isabel, Franco, and Sana are all very kind and supportive. The tasks are easy to learn and I greatly appreciated the sense of teamwork and fun with all of the other volunteers. It was nice to have a mini "family" during my time in London in such an excellent location.

My volunteer experience offered valuable personal growth but revealed operational challenges. The organization relies entirely on volunteers for housekeeping and kitchen duties, leaving us fully responsible without proper training, which sometimes led to errors. Additionally, inconsistent break policies made some tasks more exhausting. Despite this, the staff was friendly, and the sense of community with other volunteers was highly rewarding.

I must admit that I am surprised by your comment above, especially as you have never expressed these thoughts to me in the last 4-5 weeks. I thought that you enjoyed your stay with us, as you continue your stay. I would encourage you to communicate or seek help in the future endeviour placement to avoid making any assumptions. It would have been better for both of us to communicate and work things out in the moment.
