Harvesting olives with Katarina, Leo, and the two kids was such a refreshing experience. Getting to enjoy the almost immediate fruits of your labors with fresh, spicy oil is magnificent. The weather was good, a bit windy. The tent was warm and dry, the food was unique and delicious, and the family is welcoming and friendly. Lots of chances to get out and explore, go for hikes or go to the beach. A true 5 star experience. I highly recommend!

This was a brilliant experience! Katharina & Leo were so welcoming and friendly. The day was flexible & you could start whenever you wanted - I was often working by 6.30am to beat the heat. The work was varied and just being in this beautiful landscape was amazing. We joined the family on many interesting trips which included the Alcantara gorge, the beach, visits to local villages and a wonderful hike on Mount Etna.

This has been a truly enriching experience. From the very beginning, we felt warmly welcomed into their wonderful family. They are incredibly kind and genuinely good-hearted people. The tasks can vary depending on what is needed at the moment, but they always consider your abilities and make sure you feel comfortable and cared for while working. The place itself is beautiful, surrounded by nature and full of peaceful, inspiring energy. I'm very grateful for the time I spent here! I highly recommend this experience <3

This was my first volunteer experience as for them too. Katharina and her husband are really nice people. They taken us unique places, we eat healthy food and I could spend lot of time in nature as was my goal. I also met with other travellers so I could practice my language skills. The work was flexible and not that hard. Was great experience for the first time and maybe I will visit in the future as well:)

This Experience was a great way to get in touch with nature in such a beautiful location of Sicily. I couldn't get enough of the landscape. There were many opportunities to visit gorgeous local areas and enjoy the scenery. The hours of work were flexible and allowed for lots of free time to explore the area or simply relax. The whole family were lovely and welcoming, really made you feel at home. I would recommend this experience for anyone who wants more of a local experience to sicily as well as really getting in touch with nature.

Katharina and her family were lovely and welcoming and their cooking was extremely delicious. Picking olives was a unique and fun experience. When I had to leave a little earlier because I wasn't feeling so well (which had absolutely nothing to do with them), they were very understanding and cooperative. The view is completely breathtaking and the location offers lots of cities to explore and hikes to conquer. The tent was too cold in December. All in all, I can definitely recommend this experience to someone who wants to spend a lot of time in nature and get to know a wonderful family!
