Tuve la oportunidad de llevar a cabo esta experiencia y fue genial! El staff fue muy amable y estuvo en cada detalle. Es espacio del lugar es excelente, muy cómodo y espacioso, las tareas fueron muy fáciles de llevar a cabo y tuvimos a disposición el auto, lo cual facilitó mucho el moverse dentro de la zona de Klang. Tuvimos varias actividades exelentes. Realmente recomiendo esta experiencia, más si quieres descansar. Respecto a la comida, fue buena, pero nos hubiese gustado que sigan un plan nutricional, ya que hubieron muchas frituras y arroz de por medio. Este fue un mínimo detalle.

I had an absolutely amazing time at the community's volunteer programme. It's the perfect mix of fulfilling work, awesome people and memorable experiences. I stayed for 2 weeks but decided to extend for another 2 as I was enjoying my time there so much. Breakfast lunch and dinner were always filling and the living facilities were A class, whether that be the giant lounge for socialising with other volunteers or interns, luxury bathrooms or divine sleeping arrangements. If you're in the area and want a fulfilling volunteer experience, the community is perfect

If you're thinking about volunteering here, DO IT! It's seriously been such an incredible experience at the community. We've learned so much about textile waste and the harms of the fast-fashion industry. The volunteer programme is very well managed and clearly outlined with very manageable tasks. There's also extra activities such as cooking classes, language lessons and visits to a local disability centre. The living quarters are beyond amazing, huge and modern with a pool table and lots of games. You even get a car to drive around (if you have a licence). Can't recommend this opportunity enough.

Life in the community is one of the best experiences to me.We were doing some meaningful things together,and the atmosphere of the working or living quite makes me feel like home.My tasks r innovative n creative,i can always have my own space to show my creativity n subjective initiative.Our activities are diversified,n we don't have to do it alone.With comfortable accommodations n living zone n delicious food.i never regret n always happy abt this decision to do volunteering in the community!!

Volunteering at the community was an amazing experience! The staff, co-volunteers, and interns were so fun/light to be with. I loved all the weekly activities, outreach program and learning about textile waste, which also gave me a deeper understanding of the textile waste industry. 100% recommend this program! The project is incredibly inspiring. The team is super nice and very helpful. The accommodation is amazing and the food is delicious! They organise languages classes, cooking lessons, workshops for you to learn new skills. I loved it!

This was a very impactful and unique volunteering experience. the community is the largest textile recovery program in Malaysia and it was a very valuable experience to learn and see how it works. The volunteer living area is very nice, and even though it is in a more industrial area by the port, they provide a company car for the volunteers to use! I had a great time learning about textile recovery here and definitely recommend it to others.

My experience was excellent. The staff is very friendly and kind, always attentive to our needs and creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are top-notch: comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, making you feel truly at home. The food is delicious and varied, which is definitely a highlight. On top of that, you'll get the chance to learn a lot about textile recycling and take part in workshops that are both fun and useful, giving you new skills and plenty of inspiration. Overall, it was a very enriching experience that I would absolutely recommend.

I absolutely loved my 3 weeks experience at the community ! I met amazing people (volunteers and staff) and had so much fun doing the tours and workshops with the kids. Everyone from the staff is fun and open minded. I felt like at home and ended up staying one more week. It was nice being engaged in a sustainable project and learn about textile upcycling. And of course the cooking classes, especially for the eating part ahah.
