It was so nice getting to know Nikki, the host, and the other volunteers but unfortunately the work and stay were not what I was expecting. The tasks each day felt unorganized as to who was doing what and my expectations of the jobs were different than what we ended up doing. As for accommodations, Nikki's property is breath taking! Beautiful views, but as she did warn, very far from any sites/tourist attractions/potential activities. Also I was in a shared apartment, without locks on the bedroom doors. It ended up fine but just something to be aware of.

We had a great time at Nikki's place. She is very friendly and funny. Her food is delicious and we got lots of ice cream. She can be a bit messy which made communication harder sometimes. The work is mostly physical and included picking olive trees, cleaning apartments and gardening. She took us to a lot of places on our free days. However I would advise you to get yourself a car if possible because there is not really much to do without one. Overall we had an amazing time and learned a lot from this experience.

Nikki is a very nice person. She always accommodates our needs with hers. She took us to the beach, bought us ice cream, gave us two days off to explore Rome, and always asked if we needed anything. Besides having an amazing view, it was great for improving our English and learning a few words in Italian. The only downside is that she can be a bit messy, and sometimes communication can be a bit challenging. But it was a great experience!

The experience at the eco village was incredible❤️, I also want to say I had an awesome time at this cozy and warm hearted place full of magical🪄 and unbelievable places is a hidden gem super near Rome. Nikki is the best🤗 – her food is amazing🍝, and she helped me find peace and joy within myself. I'm super grateful and made a lifelong friend on this wonderful journey. 😊

We had a really good time at the eco village! Nikki is a great host with so much to offer. We felt at home and the accommodation is really good. The work can vary from gardening to cleaning, painting and even help with social media, depending on the weather. The surroundings are really beautiful and the landscapes are unique. I recommend this experience if you like outside work, be prepared to get your hands dirty!

My experience at the eco village was an experience I can't imagine any other being like. Nikki was very accommodating, fed us well, although she was sometimes slightly disorganised which led to us recieving out of date milk for breakfast one day, but the problem was resolved quickly. We had lots of time to explore the local area, and Nikki even took us on trips to Pescara and an annual festival which was amazing. My only problem was that I was meant to have a private room, but ended up sharing, yet I was not told this until I was already at the experience.

Our experience staying with Nikki was overall positive. The location was absolutely beautiful, and the work was manageable and easy-going, ranging from cleaning the pool and apartment rooms to assisting with social media and a variety of personal and professional tasks. Nikki was kind enough to take us to local restaurants and other nearby spots when she had the time, which allowed us to explore the area. During our stay, it seemed like a high stress time due to the local festivities. This sometimes affected aspects of the work, responsibilities and what was expected of us. Despite this, we e

To be honest, I’m quite disappointed that you gave me a four, especially after you mentioned you would definitely give me a five. I took you both around, picked you up whenever you needed, and helped you with anything you asked. Considering that at your other placement, you had to arrange your own transportation and dealt with multiple issues, yet you still gave them a five, it just doesn’t seem fair.

I am thankful to Nikki for letting us come and stay at the eco village. The area and the surrounding views are stunning. The tasks are straightforward and varied. The place is a bit isolated, the closest village being 25 mins walk away. Nikki was flexible with the time worked, though we didn't fully agree on the amount we had worked. Whenever she had to go to one of her other properties she would let us come with and explore the surrounding town and she would go out of her way to get us ice cream/cake. Whenever we had disagreements we worked them out, though not as smoothly as I would have liked

I really liked the time i spent here. Nikki is a wonderful person with so many interesting ideas and experiences to share, I've also built an amazing friendship with the other volunteers :) The work I've done was, sometimes,a bit too much for what i was expecting and, for me, breakfast was not enough to the work I would be doing afterwards. The accommodations were great with an amazing view but very far away from any big city which made it a bit difficult to explore the surroundings other than nature.

I had a good time in the eco village with Nikki and the other volunteers. The work was sometimes hard and exhaustive, but other than that Nikki was a great host and was very flexible and caring. The only “problem” is that the house is very far away from everything so it makes it a little difficult to explore the near by cities, but if your looking for a more relaxed and connect with nature type of volunteer experience I would definitely recommend :)
