Fue una de las experiencias más increíbles que viví. El lugar es un sueño hecho realidad literalmente, en medio de todo. Si te gusta el senderismo, hay pueblos, ríos, cascadas y lagos. Perritos que te despiertan a besos. Son una familia hermosisima, con valores y un ideal claro, hacer del mundo un lugar mejor! Encontraron una forma alternativa de vivir que pensé imposible. Cuidan cada detalle y comparten su saber con amor. Lo recomiendo por su calidad humana y su espíritu aventurero, tienen algo especial que aún no puedo explicar, pero que llevaré siempre conmigo! Gracias totales de todo coraz

Hola, mi experiencia fue mil linda, odi y john fueron muy buenos, y los nenes son un amor, jugamos futbol, nos divertimos. Yo no hablo inglés y ellos no tuvieron ningún problema en recibirnos, mi amiga Melanie ayudaba con la traducción. Son una familia increíble, cualquier problema podes hablar con ellos, todos colaboran y el ambiente es de mucha ternura y respeto, conectamos con la naturaleza, fuimos a conocer un pueblo cerca, usamos las bicis, pudimos cocinar comida típica de nuestro país, pasamos pascuas con una familia amiga de ellos y fue super divertido conocernos entre todos. Gracias ❤️

Me encantó haber vivido esta experiencia, recomiendo, fue un desafío, nunca había dormido en carpa con lluvia, son resistentes al agua, no pase frío y conecte con la naturaleza, aprendí la importancia de cuidar el agua,lo más lindo fue haber hecho un intercambio cultural con otros voluntarios y la familia. Realmente son muy generosos, receptivos, me sentí como en casa. Los niños son muy dulces y buenos, una vez que comienzas a jugar con ellos te diviertes mucho. Puedes conocer otros pueblos ya que te brindan una bici para pasear y también paseamos con la familia, y compartimos muchas comidas!

I had my first volunteering program with John & Odie, and they provided the best experience I could have imagined. I stayed for one month with my girlfriend, and it was truly unforgettable. The tasks were easy to handle, fun, and always well-organized. We felt welcomed from the very first day, and it didn't take long to feel at home. I met amazing people that I'll never forget, and the atmosphere was always positive and supportive. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure, great company and meaningful memories!

This month of volunteering at Odie and Johns was so much fun, they are one of the most welcoming people I know! I met so many kind people there apart from John, Odie and the boys that I am never going to forget. The tasks were easy to handle and they always included us in the planning. Almost every afternoon and night we would do something together like cooking, going to a nice swimming spot, playing games or just chilling all together! They set my bar so high, no other volunteering experience could beat that! Thank you sooo much for this month at your place, it was truly incredible!

Could not have had a better experience, my first time volunteering and will definitely be hard to beat! John and Odie are two of the most kind hearted funny people I've ever met so welcoming and fun to be around. They made sanding and painting walls unbelievably fun and their home felt like mine also for a short time! Thank you to Ron, Kim, Matty, the boys and John and Odie for an amazing month will hopefully see you all again soon !

My stay was short for personal reasons, but I can say that the days I was there were incredible, I enjoyed everything a lot, John and Odi are the best hosts, super friendly and attentive at all times, and my volunteer colleagues made being with them a home away from home, thank you for everything ❤️

I would like to express my gratitude to John and Odilia for providing an incredible experience. I learned a lot and had a fantastic time. Unlike other volunteer programs, ours doesn't have a fixed schedule, and the routines are quite flexible. It was an honour for me to contribute to building this place called home alongside other lovely volunteers. We took turns cooking family style meals using fresh ingredients from the local farmers market. We go hiking to nearby waterfalls and explore the towns. Overall, this holistic journey has been so enriching that I would definitely do it again.

I spent the best two and a half weeks of my life there. Everyone was so caring, understanding, and just generally the most fun people to be around. I was the youngest (apart from the kids) and the only female volunteer there for two weeks, but I never felt like I didn't fit in or was left out. I loved being part of such a diverse group of people. I had so many deep and meaningful talks with Odilia, and I will cherish those forever. I also loved playing with the kids, and I was very sad to leave them:(. The whole family will always be in my heart, and I really hope to come back someday.
