Fue una experiencia muy chévere, trabajé en recepción por dos semanas, ayudando a los recepcionistas, realizando sus tareas. Siempre había cosas por hacer, lo cual hacía que nunca estuviera aburrido. Conocí a muy buenas personas. El staff fue super amable, acogedora y siempre sentí su apoyo. Además, el hostel es un lugar muy bonito, grande y con buena ubicación. Fue mi primera experiencia de voluntario estupenda :)

La experiencia fue bastante grata. Todos fueron muy amables desde mi llegada y me acogieron como un miembro más de su equipo. Por un momento me sentí como en mi ciudad natal. Por otra parte, el ambiente en el hostel es agradable y de vez en cuando tranquilo, aunque si quieres fiesta también la encontrarás y de verdad que lo disfrutarás.

No tenía idea de que fuese un party hostel y la verdad no es el mejor ambiente para voluntariar. Esto no es un voluntariado más, es un trabajo. No hay habitación de voluntarios y eso es un problema importante.

Hola Gorka, gracias por tu comentario el cual nos sorprende mucho ya que a mí staff que te ayudo en en muchas ocasiones y te dió muchas facilidades cuando te realizaste la operación de tu lengua ( sabiendo que estabas haciendo voluntariado y no ibas a poder hablar ni hacer esfuerzo alguno) pero aún así te dimos días libres para puedas recuperarte. Pero lamentablemente no pudiste seguir con el voluntariado.

Nuestros voluntarios son huéspedes de nuestro hermoso hostel por lo que son ubicados en las misma habitación que los demás huespedes. Es por ello que no tenemos una sola habitación para voluntarios.

El perfil de voluntariado que buscamos es gente que tenga muy buena Actitud y tenga ganas de aprender algo nuevo. ( De eso se trata).

El hostel es un hostel con una excelente estructura y ofrecen buenos beneficios a los voluntarios. Fueron muy claros acerca de las responsabilidades y las reglas del hostel, cumpliendo también todo lo que fue acordado. La mayoría de los staffs también fueron amables y me hicieron tener una buena experiencia.

I had a great volunteering experience at this hostel. The staff was welcoming, the vibe was very social, and the location in Miraflores near Kennedy Park felt safe at all hours. The facilities were clean and the room was comfortable. As a vegan, I really appreciated that they adapted the meals for me. I volunteered in the marketing area, filming activities and editing videos for social media. Everything was planned with Rocío, who is in charge of marketing, and the schedule was always fair and flexible. It was a great learning experience and definitely the best of my four volunteerings.

My time at the hostel was wonderful! I felt very comfortable right from the start. The countless hostel activities make it very easy to meet a lot of people. I also really enjoyed working at the bar, even though it was a bit exhausting at times. Thank you very much, Dominique and Alan, for your patience with me and my Spanish and for showing me how to mix the Pisco Sour (and so many other cocktails). In my free time, I got to know the hostel with its beautiful neighbourhoods, relaxed beach promenade and great cuisine, and I tried some surfing. I would recommend volunteering in the hostel to anyone ❤️

The team at the hostel were great. I worked on the bar at breakfast from 9am-1pm each day with 1 day off per week which worked really well for me. Working with Adrian was great because he was so helpful and friendly, he made it fun and taught me what I needed to do with patience. I would highly recommend volunteering at the hostel because it's a well organised hostel with activities on each day, it's clean and a great place to stay!
