My experience at the Center was magical. I met some of the most amazing people, both fellow volunteers and locals and I learned something from everyone. The nature is amazing and there's so many things you can do and experience. I really loved working in the garden, hours are flexible so that you can enjoy your time around and everyone is always ready to help you if you need it. I truly raccomend this experience to everyone, it was an unforgettable month!

Silvia is calm and with that comes deep caring for her surroundings. With the people around her but also her environment. Silvia took good care and responsibility of the garden. The volunteers who lived with her will miss all the laughs and quiet moments in the kitchen, the baking, the smell of coffee, her generosity. Silvia will be missed and is ALWAYS welcome to come back to recharge, to surrender to catch some breaths when life becomes to scheduled. Keep your spontaneity. -by Gigi

I had an incredible time at the Center and was lucky enough that the folk festival was on the first few days that I was there. Kelsey made me feel super welcome. I primarily did marketing, but I was also able to help in the garden and do some light cleaning and cooking during the Monday meetings. On the afternoons and weekends, I went swimming in the lake, walking in the forest. Additionally, I also got to try bow shooting, yoga, ceramics, women's circle, live music, among many other things. I miss the Center, the community and the fellow volunteers already and would highly recommend it ❤️

The Center is a magical place that can provide an escape from the rush of busy life to everyone! The people are kind and caring, the village is quaint and beautiful and the nature is stunning. Completely recommend <3

Annabelle navigated skillfully through traveling surprises. She came at the perfect time to enjoy some of the most beautiful concerts and music of the year! She easily got along with everyone and was happy to help. Wish her a wonderful time in her next adventure in Oslo.

My experience in Hedemora was really positive. I had time to connect with myself, enjoy the moment, and take in some amazing views. I met some great volunteers and locals, and I was able to connect with them and learn a lot just by spending time together. One of the best parts for me was the football matches, which happened almost twice a week. I loved playing with both kids and adults — everyone was super friendly and welcoming to me. This experience will stay with me for a long time. It really helped me reflect and set some goals for my future.

Ivan arrived to a totally new environment and was open to trying and experiencing everything. Very kind and relaxed he got along with everyone. Ivan was working during the days but still took so much initiative to help out even though he had filled his volunteer hours. He was always willing to help and was good at finding solutions! Had the most amazing time at the Center this month! The workload was reasonable and at your own pace, which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and lake. The community made us feel so welcomed from the first day, especially the volunteer coordinator, Kelsey. The other volunteers were also amazing and it was cool to live with people from all over the world. There's always something going on in the community, so we got to try new activities we never would've done otherwise. Highly recommend a workstay at the Center!

Lexi and Dede are an incredible team, with so much friendliness and charisma the volunteer apartment lit up during their time here. They set the tone and the other volunteers fell into the great feeling of living together. They were super reliable, self-directed, trustworthy and well organized. Their personalities will be missed!

I experienced so many firsts at the Center — my first time volunteering, my first time in a spiritual community, my first time living in a village that feels like a fairytale. I helped in the kitchen, made clay crafts, planted onions, joined a women's circle, saw acro yoga, and paddled a canoe on the lake for the first time and so on. I'm really thankful for this journey and I'll always treasure it. I loved every person in the community —everyone was so kind and warm. I could express my feelings and preferences freely, and I found a rare sense of safety and comfort. I'll miss you all very much.

Lexi and I had the best time in our three weeks at the Center. Kelsey was so welcoming and warm to us, as was the whole community. Even though we were there a short time, I felt like everyone took the chance to get to know us, teach us, and take us under their wing. The town is beautiful, especially in June, and we were lucky enough to get to experience Midsummer with the locals in the most picturesque setting. I had really limited yoga and meditation experience, and Kelsey did such an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and welcomed to participate in any classes! We love you the Center🫶

Dede and Lexi are an amazing duo that create a warm friendly environment that all the other volunteers got to enjoy :) They are super reliable and Dede took SUCH NICE PHOTOS. Wow. Really impressed as she made our social media pop. They were just wonderful to host.

Friedhelm was my first Worldpackers experience and exactly the right place for it! My experience in Friedhelm was very, very good. It's just a wonderfully peaceful and warm place. A beautiful place with lots to experience. I received a very warm welcome from Kelsey, the other residents and the other volunteers and felt right at home. I was unfortunately ill at the beginning and everyone was very accommodating!Apart from that, I just had a great time with lots of fun and relaxation. I very much hope to come back one day! Warm and heartfelt greetings❤️

Lu was such a trooper! She arrived sick and still went out to help in the garden, showed up for yoga and didn't miss out on all there was to experience. Luckily she recovered quickly despite her enthusiasm for engaging herself no matter what :) We warmly welcome her back and appreciate all she gave and helped with.

The Center is a truly special place and definitely an opportunity worth experiencing! In the few weeks I was there I fell in love with the land and community, and it was hard to say goodbye in the end. There is so much love and supportive energy here <3 You will not be disappointed!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful.
