Nico was a fantastic host. We had a team meeting every day, discussed the most important things, and he always tried to make everyone feel comfortable. It's a big project, and I think everyone is treated well here. I had a great time and am grateful to have been part of the project. The working hours were flexible, as long as the work was done, you could organize your free time well.

Foi ótimo ajudar o hostel durante esses dias e poder disfrutar do surf e do centrinho del tunco com mais calma, está bem pertinho da praia então a qualquer momento você pode ir ali tirar um tempo. Ajudei nesta primeira fase do hostel que está tudo reformando, ajudei com pintura e limpeza, e apesar da bagunça normal de obras, sempre fui recebido, o anfitrião se preocupava com todos, foi ótima minha experiência, recomendo a todos.

Foi um prazer poder fazer parte da equipe nessa primeira fase do hostel. Lindo poder ver essa transformação que o espaço está recebendo, pena não poder ver o hostel aberto mas feliz por ter feito parte do projeto. Tarefas no momento são para ajudar na manutenção, pintura e todas as necessidades para finalizar a reforma do hostel. Nico é um ótimo anfitrião, procura que todos se sintam bem e está sempre aberto a idéias. Gratidão pela oportunidade!

The hostel is a beautiful hostel in a great location. The owner Nico wasn't around a lot during my stay, leaving many responsibilities to a 23 year old volunteer who trained everyone else. The lack of structure and Nico's continuous absence made the working environment feel chaotic despite the work itself being quite easy. I hired a Spanish teacher during my stay but don't expect to work on your Spanish otherwise - it's a very touristy area.

This is a great place to meet travelers alike and chill. I met some awesome people that I know will be in my life in the future. Unfortunately the host did leave on vacation and since it is a new hostel things needed to be figured out. I believe reception work could improve for a more organized format in checking people in and out and cash handling. But otherwise this hostel is great to chill by the beach, surf. And meet people

I had a great experience here. The whole volunteer crew was dedicated, hard-working and passionate. I really enjoyed being in a big group dynamic. It was great to see the changes and improvement in the hostel and to be apart of creating a positive hostel dynamic for the guests.
