This was my first volunteer experience and I would 10/10 recommend it!! The staff was really nice and helpful at any time and with all the interns it truly felt like a family. The work schedule was fair so that we always had a good balance between work and free time. I'll never forget the time I spent at the M and all the amazing people I got to meet! :)

Volunteering at the M has been nothing short of an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived until my departure day, I was welcomed with open arms by the truly amazing staff team. They make you feel like you were part of the M family! I always felt like my contributions were valued and appreciated, and there also is flexibility towards the shifts you are assigned to do each week. I felt like I had the perfect balance between work and free time, allowing me to explore the vibrant and exciting city of Montreal. I can't recommend volunteering here enough! <3

The M truly feels like home. It was one of the most enriching experiences ever! Montreal itself is an amazing city, and being at the M with the wonderful other volunteers + staff made it even better. 10/10 recommend.

Occasionally, she benefited from a bit of encouragement, but always responded with a positive attitude and completed her tasks well. The M is a place full of love. As much interns as hostel workers contribute to an atmosphere of kindness, friendship and mutual help. The job schedule is fair and flexible and the interns room is one of the most comfortable houses i've ever lived in (really). If you need some privacy you can use the curtains of your bed. Instead, if you don't want to feel alone, you will never be (literally, NEVER). The M has been home for almost 3 months, and will always be: i left a piece of my heart there.

I had a really good time at the hostel! Everyone is super nice , the Manager is really fair with the schedule. In the beginning the workload can seem a lot but after a week it's really manageable, I had enough free time. There are also shifts that are really fun, like the tours with the guests. The location of the hostel is really central, just the area around it can be a bit unsafe at night, but if you walk 5 minutes you're in a really good area. The intern room is a mixed 14-bedroom, which for me wasn't a problem as everyone was really nice.

An amazing experience full of great human beings! As soon as you arrive the staff and interns makes you feel welcome and included, many fun activities within the hostel and also a great location! If you're looking to party, explore a multicultural city and get to know people from all over the world I highly recommend this volunteering!

My volunteering at here was amazing!! At first I was hesitant due to the minimum amount of days, but after meeting the staff, the installations, and the other volunteers you might even think in extending your stay (it's more common that I first thought). You get to know a lot of the city, and thanks to how big the hostel is, it becomes a multicultural experience full of new travelers every day. I'm grateful for the people I met, friends I made, and core memories I experience. Totally recommended.

It was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't have chosen a better place! The workload is manageable and diverse, just be aware that sometimes you can work more than 5 hours a day. The hostel is fantastic, very clean, the beds are comfortable, the bar is great and the rooftop jacuzzi is a plus. I met some amazing people and our volunteer group had an incredible dynamic, it truly felt like a family. The staff were also friendly and fun. A special thanks to Morgane, our manager, who was always there to help us and make the experience even better.

I spent 45 days with the hostel team and it was an incredible experience. The people there are friendly, I made a lot of friends from all over the world. The staff are always friendly and helpful, as are the supervisors and the boss. Thank you the hostel for making my days in this city the best. I strongly recommend them!
