The hostel is the perfect place to meet international people. I was lucky enough to share this experience with other interns from all over the world and to also meet some of the guests and have activities with them. The staff and housekeepers are very friendly and open to answer any questions. The managers are flexible with the schedules and they are respectful with the hours we have to work. I recommend this experience and I would love to volunteer here again!

Juan completed an internship with us at M Montreal and quickly became a valued part of the team. He brought a positive attitude to every shift and showed real care in helping both guests, staff and his fellow interns.

He fit in easily with the team, communicated well, and handled responsibilities competently and with good energy. It was great to see him grow more confident and independent over time.

What can I say about my stay, Everything went beyond my expectations. The wonderful people I met, the interesting tasks we were given, the city of Montreal so lively in the summer, the incredibly welcoming locals, and the captivating culture of Quebec and its people, everything made this experience unforgettable. The hostel where I did my volunteer work is of excellent quality, whether you're staying as a traveler or a volunteer The hostel staff are always there to inform you and help you with your daily tasks. And the connections you create with other volunteers will stay with you forever

Fabien was a fantastic intern and a valued member of our team. He quickly adapted to the role, showing a strong work ethic and a great attitude. He stepped up during busy times, was flexible and supported the team wherever needed.
Faiben grew noticeably during his time with us, becoming more confident, proactive, and reliable. He also brought a warm, friendly energy that was appreciated by everyone. We wish him the best with whatever he does next and he would be welcome back at the M anytime :)

Definitely one the best experience of my life thankful to AMAZING people, roommates and staff. About connections is one the best places to be, perfect location in downtown and I learned a lot from that first volunteer work. My fault that I expected something different about the aspects of the exchange between the volunteers and company, in the end, your another employee for them. Everything has a good and bad side, in this case definitely the good overweight the bad. Volunteers/interns just need to communicate their own boundaries :) Love you all staff Hi Diar/Nico<3

Lucas was an incredible addition to our team. He was always hard-working, reliable and had a positive attitude that made him a popular person with his fellow interns, staff and guests. He balanced a strong work ethic with a relaxed demeanour which ensured that any work was carried out to the best of his ability while also recognizing that the time spent here should be fun.
We are sad to see Lucas leave but we wish him the best for whatever he does next and he is welcome back at the M any time.

Mon expérience au M Montréal a été incroyable. J'ai pu créer de vrais liens avec les autres interns et avec le staff dans un hostel où l'on se sent vraiment chez soi. La localisation de l'hostel est vraiment géniale par sa proximité avec toutes les activités que la ville propose. Et l'hostel en lui même est très agréable avec ses jacuzzis, son rooftop, son bar et ses soirées. Le M Montréal et son staff restera très longtemps dans mon esprit et mon cœur. Merci pour tous ces beaux souvenirs ! Ravie d'avoir pu être votre animatrice Bingo attitrée :)

I had so much fun at the M Montréal that I stayed 5 months. I met there incredibly kind people (Volunteer and Staff). I also enjoyed a lot the local culture and the nature around Montréal ! The winter is very cosy and an opportunity to connect with the other volunteers through indoor activities and games.

It was my first experience as a volunteer and the hostel received me very well, everyone on the team treated me with great affection and I connected with many people, including my roommates. The tasks organized and well explained. I was able to improve my English a lot since there were people from all over the world, and I even opened my mind to start speaking French since it is a bilingual place. Having such a wonderful time at the hostel! First experience as a worldpackers volunteer and it couldn't be better! :) The staff is super kind, helpful, and always ready to support! We get to do different kinds of tasks, which is really nice and keeps the routine fun and interesting. It's also an amazing place to practice english and french, and to meet people from all over the world! The hostel is really clean, cozy, well-organized, and has such a warm, welcoming vibe! Totally recommend it :)

I had an amazing experience at the hostel. The people are very kind and friendly, the facilities are excellent, and it's very close to many great places. The shifts are flexible and great for practicing other languages ​​(like English or French). Plus, there are many events at the hostel to meet new people. The hostel was an amazing experience! The team and the other interns were super welcoming, and the vibe was always fun and social. I met so many great people and felt at home right away. The work was kinda chill (at least in the low season), and I always felt appreciated. I'm really grateful for my time here and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a Workaway in Montreal :)
