La Experiencia

We need volunteers to help with garden work, lots of weeding. Plus any other garden / landscaping work required at the time. We have built our new home on a 5666sqm lifestyle section and there are many other random jobs associated with setting up the property, cleaning inside and out, windows, decks etc depending on the needs of the day. We are happy to pick up from bus stops in Milton or Waihola, or Dunedin airport.

I totally enjoyed my time with Raewyn & David. I stayed at their lovely place and their daughter's place near Christchurch where they were renovating the house at the time. They made sure that I have everything I need and feel comfortable. Raewyn's food was absolutely delicious. When it comes to work I would recommend to be flexible, as it is very weather depending. I did a lot of painting. Besides that I was gardening and did other general tasks around the house. The work hours were flexible and I got multiple opportunities to explore the area and meet their friends and family. Thank you!☺️

It was my first experience with world backpackers and it couldn't have been better. Raewyn and David are a lovely couple building and taking care of a beautiful house and land nearby a beautiful the home. The work was all about manual takes around the house and its garden and they were very flexible and explained us what to do. We were super well accommodated and had the chance to exchange very interesting talks while enjoying super yummy food. We met other volunteers and the environment was perfect. We are very happy with the experience and hope to meet again!
