Foi meu primeiro voluntariado e posso dizer que aprendi bastante e conheci pessoas maravilhosas. Foi um desafio aprender a cozinhar comida vegana para 15 pessoas (uma tarefa que poderia ser compartilhada com mais uma pessoa), mas isso abriu muito minha mente, principalmente sobre ter uma alimentação mais saudável. Acabei reduzindo o tempo da minha estadia, mas o tempo que passei no centro me trouxe aprendizados que levarei para a vida. Um abraço especial para todos, mas principalmente para Ivan e Hans. Desejo muito sucesso e um futuro brilhante!!!

The Center is a magical place with beautiful people. I learned a lot about myself, communal living and spiritual practices. Spending time with the other volunteers was great fun too! I would absolutely recommend this place. It has a special place in my heart for sure.

I had a wonderful experience with the Center 'family'. The setting is stunning and the whole team are a genuine, open and caring group of people. Volunteers are included and respected and made to feel an essential part of the operation. When guests were on site we had a super organised rota which allowed us to support all aspects of the operation and plan ahead for our own time off, taking part in the yoga and meditation classes where the rota allowed. A large part of volunteer work is cooking vegan food for the staff which I really enjoyed as it tested my imagination ;)

Coming to the Center was the best decision of my life! The people here are wonderful and make you feel apart of the family immediately, the work is enjoyable and the place it's self and the energy it carry's is absolutely beautiful! I would recommend this place to any spiritually conscious person that wants to learn and grow more, you won't regret it! Thank you MV and see you soon ❤️

One of the best experiences of my life so far! I could spend hours talking about this beautiful place and all the beautiful human being I met, but I think the proper way to really and deeply understand what can be experienced there is just going and staying there. If you are looking for something that allows you to remember to come home into yourself and your inner wisdom and at the same time to be truly inspired and enlighten by all the bright and vibrant souls who are living there or nearby, the Center is the place to be.

I am so grateful I had the chance to volunteer at the Center with an amazing team of such interesting people. I was able to explore the Algarve when I had my 2 days off and the team was so inclusive that I had the chance to participate to the meditations and yoga sessions offered by the holistic center. It helped me to find my balance since I had the opportunity to rest in that peaceful and beautiful working environement. When I was working, I had to help with the garden, housekeeping and cook vegan food with the vegetables available from the garden. Good energy, best experience ever

The best experience in the Center, good vibes, a beautiful place, quiet and connected to nature with a staff of wonderful people always worried if you are ok or need help. Together with the two volunteers we feel at home and part of the community. The work is well organized and on your days off you can get to know more of the surroundings, and also practice yoga, meditation and dance (I loved this class) I can only thank all especially Rich(Kurt) for sharing your wisdom and laughter, I hope come back soon. I wish them all the best. I miss them already.

Loved my stay at the Center, a beautiful place surrounded by nature and an amazing staff ❤ The only thing for me was that when the guests are here you don't have the same days-off and schedule than the others volunteers so can't really hang out with them... I learned a lot, food was amazing, the work was nice and you can come to the yoga and meditation class where the teachers are always ready to teach us things and answer your questions ! Recommend the experience ☺

Hi Lyne, thanks for the feedback, was an absolute pleasure having you with us! Thanks again for your hard work and good company! I just wanted to add something to your point about not having the same time off as the other volunteers, just to balance it a bit for other prospective volunteers! So yes it’s often the case that while guests are here you all have your individual shifts and different days off, but when guests aren’t here (which was the case for the last week of your stay) then you did all work the same times and have days off together, including the last weekend too. As a general structure I always try and start volunteers a few days before a retreat begins, and leave a few days after, so that we can all spend some time together as a group and community but unfortunately this wasn’t possible with you as you were a last moment replacement which meant you arrived during a retreat instead of before too!
