The experience at KMCA was very good. The place and the people are so peaceful. We were asked to work 4 days (6h/day) and had 3 days off (they could be not in a row, depending on their needs). It's mainly gardening, plus some other small tasks like housekeeping, some cooking. I'd really recommend you to go there if you are interested in knowing more about buddhism. Be aware that they only allow you to volunteer there for 2 weeks. If you'd like to stay more, you have to ask once you are there.

Nice, quiet place with friendly people. The working hours are communicated well in advance, and the meals are very consistent. You will enjoy your stay even more if you are interested in Buddhism.

I had a great time at the community Center. It is a super peaceful place, everyone is very welcoming, and the food was delicious. Had so much fun cooking with Beth and overall the work was really fair and as described. Really recommend if you need a break from busy life, enjoy nature, and would like to learn more a modern Buddhism :)

This was the best volunteering I have done so far! It's amazing :) The people are so nice, you learn a lot about buddhism and the community, the work is very well organized and the workload totally fine :) I loved the food and the location is very calm and right into nature ✨
