I spent four and a half weeks at the shelter and they were so rewarding! I had a great time with the other volunteers and the animals. Liala has a lot of passion and love for what she does, which you can see every time you work and talk with her. It's so, so inspiring! the shelter is an amazing project that deserves more recognition for all the good it does

I LOVED my stay at the shelter. Liala is a very welcoming host. She gives a lot of freedom and trust to the volunteers. She's always available if you have any question or problem. She's one of the strongest woman I ever met. She dedicates her life and her heart to the place and the animals which is really inspiring to see. The work is really fun to do as well, it doesn't even feel like working. Apart from feeding the animals and cleaning, I enjoyed working on other projects like repairing gates etc. It was so hard saying goodbye to the animals and my fellow volunteers :(

I had a really nice and fulfilling experience at the shelter! I was there for one month in Nov. and Dez. 2023. I was there with 4 other volunteers and we had a great time together. It's a lot of work, especially after we hat puppies that we had to feet every few hours, but the work was extremely rewarding. There is a lot to do and it's not very hygienic because of living with animals but the house is cleaned every day. you spend a lot of time far from the city looking at the stars.It was exactly what I imagined and needed! Thank you Liala!

It's great what Liala is doing for the Animals at the sanctuary. Such a wonderful experience working with so many different species. Working hours are 9-1 and 5-6, which is perfect for exploring the volcanic desert in free time. Unfortunately I had to leave early, however I would recommend volunteering here as it is very rewarding.

I just couldn't imagine better for my first experience. My heart hurts now💔 Liala is just amazing, impressive, I hope she knows it. I learn sooo many things in just one month and I could never thank her enough. She has a immense heart (sometimes too much😉) I had a really rich time there. Everyone is so friendly and warm. Patricia also is a lovely and attaching person, always present to help and support Liala. They inspired me a lot✨ What to say about animals.. just a dream. Giving them as much love and attention as they deserve, they will thank you each in their own way. My little paradise😇

Zoé is one of these wonderful people we will always remember and keep in our hearts. She did a fantastic job at our animal sanctuary and it was a pleasure to have her around. She is a very friendly, helpful, brave and strong person, and a perfectly reliable worker. She fulfills tasks with love and accuracy and if the situation requires it, she steps up to take responsibility and provide guidance to other volunteers, while at the same time always remaining the respectful and cheerful person she is. The doors at our place will always be wide open for her whenever she decides to come back.
