Living in Sammatz is really, really special, you get to meet people from all over the world, you practice english, spanish and german, you learn from the locals to share, to care about people, to listen and what it really means to respect each other. Many times I felt like I was in another world, the place is so beautiful and well taken care of, the gardens and lake look perfect. In Sammatz I made friends I know I'll have forever, this place will always be in my heart. Please, if you have the opportunity go! :D

Sammatz is a very special place. I have met amazing and very interesting people from all across the world many of whom I consider very good friends and I have learned a lot of new skills. I decided to extend my stay because of the current Covid pandemic and I couldn't think of a better place to be during this time :) This is also a great place to practice your Spanish!

The most valuable lesson I left Sammatz with is about growth. Just like how we worked together and planted seeds that grew into beautiful and rich plants and flowers, I found myself growing as a person connected with the natural reality around me during the month I spend in Sammatz.

My experience in Sammatz was absolutely wonderful! People there were very welcoming and made me feel at home. I had the chance of working in different places (café, garden, shop, dairy, office), so I could learn a lot. The community of volunteers was amazing as well and I made friends from all over the world. The landscape is really beautiful and it's easy to move around by train, so I could also discover some towns around Germany. Overall a highly recommended experience. I'm very grateful to everyone in Sammatz and will definitely come back as soon as I get the chance :)

This is my 2nd time in the eco village, after 3 months, I decided to come back to learn new things & discover my hiding skills until now I'm not believing that I'm working as a waiter in the eco village Cafe, that's helping me to improve my german while taking orders. This place is amazing if you want to work in different kinds of jobs this is your area, you don't need to be an expert you will learn in a couple of days. This community is really super big, the volunteers are coming all over the world, friendly people, I feel home. I'm still here for a couple of months. مع السلامة معكم أسامة من المغرب

It is one of the places that I really like. People are very friendly and are always aware of how you feel. The place is very big and beautiful. The facilities are very comfortable and the food is great. I take beautiful moments, friendships and new things that I learned. Would return without a doubt.

An absolutely gorgeous location and wonderful people to work with. We work hard but still have fun. I actually have not left yet, I am waiting out the Coronavirus situation here and I could not think of a better place to do so.
