This was my first volunteer experience in a hostel, and it was spectacular! The tasks are easy and so much fun; I especially loved the karaoke nights and chatting with the guests. The whole team was incredibly kind and friendly. The atmosphere in both the hostel and the city is full of good energy and great people. A wonderful first volunteer experience, looking forward to coming back!

I thought this experience was great! However I was originally supposed to plan social activities and this never happened. Also the tasks I was supposed to complete were kind of up in the air each day and it could be frustrating because I could be asked to do something late in the afternoon when I thought I was done. The hostel was great and enjoyed the free breakfast. I would recommend this experience if you are a little more carefree and don't need structure to your day as much.

Truly an amazing place! I had an absolute incredible experience and really didn't want it to end! The hostel has a great environment, cozy and welcoming, and the whole is staff is very friendly and makes you feel part of the family. Michael has a big warm heart and is fair and flexible, really a great boss. The chores are simple and easy to do leaving enough time to explore the city and its surroundings, but make yourself available and help whenever possible so you can contribute more to this is wonderful place! Thank you for the opportunity!

It is one of the best volunteer projects I have done to date, simple tasks and free time to get to know the city and surroundings, the hosts are very respectful and there was always good treatment involved, I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed my experience at the hostel. The staff is amazing, the place is great, it is also located in a beautiful neighborhood. Also the tasks are simple and you have flexibility and time for yourself. I also enjoyed that I got to meet a lot of people from everywhere because of the activities that they have every week. Also I practiced my English and social skills. I'm looking forward to go back<3

I overall quite enjoyed my time in Dresden, it took a few weeks to figure out exactly where I fit at the hostel, but I found my place eventually and was very comfortable there. My one suggestion for the hostel would be to update the onboarding process. I was given a paper and no official training how to do the assigned tasks apart from watching another volunteer work. It was very helpful to have an event to organize once a week, once I had an event I felt like I finally fit in. Dresden is a great city and I am grateful to have stayed with the hostel for the last few weeks.

The experience was amazing. The hostel is nice with its events and the staff is nice too. Its position is also good for enjoying nightlife in Neustadt. I recommend this experience

My stay at Mondplast was one of the best experiences of my life! Work was super easy and flexible. Everyone at Mondplast is so friendly and helpful. I really felt like a local and made lots of friends :) Would recommend to everyone! My favourite part of the experience must be getting to know the staff and locals :) Mondplast helped me get out of my comfort zone with the multiple events like karaoke and Bla Bla Language exchange. Breakfast and beds are very comfortable :) You also get lots of free time so lots of time to explore the beautiful city <3

This is the best worldpackers volunteer position you could wish for. The work was extremely fair and easy and once the chores have been learned one can work smooth and independantly, and there's plenty of time to explore the beutiful city of Dresden. The hostel is in a very popular neighborhood so the fun is guaranteed and of course Michael was definetaly among the best hosts one could possibly have, generous, kind and very relaxed, I'm very grateful. All in all the hostel will be missed. I totally recommend it.
