Phoebe and Jeremy are very kind and chill hosts. All the tasks are very clear and you never work longer than agreed. Everything is clean and the atmosphere in the hostel is in general very positive. I was the morning helper and I recommend this position. It's not very demanding and after finishing you have the rest of the day off. The instructions for preparing breakfast are very clear and the food is quite nice. All in all I can very much recommend coming here to learn a bit more about Hualien!

I had a truly wonderful time at the hostel. Phoebe and Jeremy are two very kind people, and I immediately felt at home. 🫶🏻 The hostel is small and cozy, the guests are international, and it was easy to make connections. The work at the hostel is really fair—you can always finish it within two hours. Hualien is a really beautiful place, and there's so much to discover here, especially in nature. Perfect for relaxing. 😌

Phoebe and jeremy we're so nice and helpful, I arrived a day earlier and they were very flexible. Tasks are easy and can be completed in less than 2 hours, this was my first hostel volunteering experience and i would recommend this hostel if you want to meet other travelers and socialize, I really enjoyed the time in the hostel and I am planning to come back and volunteer again.

I had a pleasant time volunteering at the hostel. Phoebe and Jeremy are always kind and attentive, welcoming, offer valuable advice, and are available whenever needed. They respect the agreed-upon terms and are dedicated to ensuring everyone has a pleasant stay, whether guest or volunteer. I was even able to extend my stay by 2 nights at the last minute, for which I am very grateful. It's easy to meet other travelers, as the common areas are very inviting. the hostel offers everything needed for a great volunteering experience, so I hope everyone will help the hostel conscientiously. ✨🙏

Volunteering at the hostel was such a great experience! Phoebe and Jeremy were super welcoming and always helpful, making me feel right at home from the start. The work was easy and well-organised, with lots of free time to explore Hualien. The hostel has a friendly, relaxed vibe, and great facilities. The location is also super convenient, right near the train/bus station with a 7/11 and lots of restaurants close by. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a Worldpackers experience in Taiwan.

I really enjoyed my time with the hostel. The work was easy and the hours were good. The hostel was really cozy and very sociable so it was super easy to meet other international travellers. Phoebe and Jeremy were super hosts who explained the work well, showed us things to do about Taiwan, brought us for local cuisine and taught us Taiwanese games :)

Phoebe and Jeremy are very welcoming and the hostel has a great environment. The tasks are very simple. I ended up doing breakfast and I loved it! You get a free bike and it's great to go around Hualien. Would definitely recommend!

I had a really nice time volunteering here. Phoebe and Jeremy were very kind, respectful and organised hosts and were very polite when correcting mistakes. The work was quite easy and we often would finish earlier than the minimum hours required which was nice. This gave us enough time to explore the city and surrounding areas which were very beautiful. The hostel itself was very comfortable and had a good influx of travellers and volunteers coming in to meet and talk to. Would highly recommend anyone who is looking to volunteer in Taiwan to come here. You probably won't find a better one!

Jeremy and Phoebe are incredibly kind hosts who made me feel welcome from the start, and their two sweet cats, Little Grey and Little White, added an extra touch of home. The work was fair and enjoyable, and I had plenty of time to explore beautiful Hualien and Taroko Gorge. The atmosphere at the hostel is peaceful, friendly, and full of heart—I'm so grateful for my time there and hope to return someday!
