Jackie is the absolute best! She's always checking in on you, feeding you the best food, and is the best person to chat with. Work hours are respected and tasks always vary; many projects to do around the big house from cleaning to plastering walls. The area is small and quiet but there are beautiful neighboring towns, a public pool, and a fantastic walking trail viewing the hills and vineyards. You get a lot of free time, ending work before lunch time so I spent my days exploring, reading my book and spending time with the other volunteers and most importantly Shorty and Chanel - the dogs.

The host respected the indicated schedules. In addition, she is very friendly and helpful. She loves spending time with the volunteers and enjoys having good conversations with people who approach her. In my case, I was able to practice my English and I made a great friend because she tries to help you with any doubt or problem you encounter. Her house is located near beautiful towns and is ideal for visiting and doing different mountain routes or even, visiting medieval towns. Thank you very much for your patience, education, and kindness.

I had a wonderful stay at Marie's house. She is very kind and loving; we exchanged many experiences, talked a lot, and I improved my English greatly here. Marie has a huge house and needs a lot of help organizing and cleaning everything. I loved meeting her two dogs, Shorty and Channel—I fell in love with Channel. 😍 Here, you live a typical countryside life, with the sounds of roosters and birds singing, beautiful views to appreciate and photograph. I had a wonderful experience during my time volunteering. The host made sure everything was enjoyable and smooth. I made many new friends and cherished the time we spent together. The food was fantastic, adding to the overall positive experience. Jackie is charming, kind, and has a great sense of humor, ensuring we never had a dull moment. Jackie took us to many places and ensured we knew as much as possible. Highly recommend!

Jackie is a truly amazing person! She always does her best to make you feel as welcomed and comfortable as possible. She's also really flexible with the work, and really open to suggestions, which I think is great. The work can change a lot because there's a lot to do to help, but the hours are always respected. The volunteering was really good, you can connect with nature and have some peace and quiet in the area. The tasks are easy to do and the schedule is respected and your days off are respected as well. One the home best things is that you are always in contact with animals and that is always a recharge. Jackie is a very kind, caring and helpful person, she makes you feel at home and always prepares delicious food. I miss you all, kisses to Shorty, Chanel and Beauty.

Mary is a super sweet and kind person, she is always attentive to what you need, she is very sweet. The last day of my stay shemade me my favorite meal!, something I will never forget. Mary needs help with her house from many years ago, to organize it, clean things and organize, it's good that they wear good gloves jajaja. You also have to help with the pets, it is very important to keep an eye on them, have closed doors and give them a lot of love!!! Mary is flexible with schedules, it's nice to help someone feel happy with their clean space. I miss you so much and Channel. Kisses Ana

Such an interesting experience, and you definitely won't get bored with Jackie. Working hours are 100% respected, and Jackie really wants you to enjoy your stay and get to know you. The free days are perfect for exploring the surrounding cities and sights. Keep in mind that the house is old and can be messy, so if you prefer well-organized, clean spaces, this might not be place for you. It's a unique opportunity to work in a historic house in the French countryside I'd love to see it "ready". Hopefully in the future volunteers will have their own bathroom and it'll be easier for everybody. 😊✌

Jackie is lovely! Always making sure everyone is comfortable and cooking for everyone with a lot of effort. I enjoyed my stay with the other volunteers just as much as my lovely conversations with Jackie! To sum it up I had a great time with some hard work:) However I do want to add that the workhours were not always known in advance. Sometimes we didnt know when to start in the morning which could lead to us sitting around waiting to work, not really being able to use the free hours to do something fun. But most days went by nicely! Much love to you Jackie, you've got a lot on your plate<3
