I left the 2nd day: hours/tasks weren't respected, communication styles clashed. The hours agreed were 25h,but he asked to do 30h. The host asked the volunteers to be “on” at all times while at the property even on days off, it blurred on/off times. There's a strict curfew that wasn't mentioned earlier. The gates locked at 11pm, if you missed you stayed outside. The room was small. The tiny shower was next to the bunk bed. In my experience, host's communication style made me feel unsafe. It could be due to different cultures, gender role expectations, and ideas of consent with females.
