La experiencia de voluntariado en la escuela es muy recomendable, cada persona comparte lo mejor de sí, todos son muy amables y agradables personas, te hacen sentir bienvenido desde elprimer momento. El hospedaje es bastante cómodo. Puedes preparar tu propia comida y tienes tiempo para disfrutar de la ciudad. Muy cumplidos con los acuerdos.

What a great experience. The school is ran immaculately with very intelligent students with a variety of ages. They were very accommodating when we arrived on a day they were closed sending affordable lodging. Anything we asked for help with they were glad to assist. They also invited us to a beautiful staff Christmas dinner, which meant a lot not being home and with family for Christmas. As well as involving us in their end of year traditions. Hopefully my journey leads me back to this beautiful city and beautiful Academy. Happy Holidays and my best regards to the faculty and students! Ciao

The staff, students, and beauty of the city leaves me with nothing but fantastic things to say about this exchange. I really believe the concept of SALC. Every aspect of this exchange is spectacular. There are plenty of places to take a quick day trip that are close and I was able to learn more about the Ecuadorian and even the got a taste of the expat culture. Being here for Christmas the school accepted me as one of their own inviting me to events and even their Christmas dinner party where I was invited and got to take part in the secret Santa gift exchange. Thank you for everything!

The staff and students were always kind and respectful. When asked to lead a group activity or shoot a video for social media, they made sure I was comfortable and it was optional. But most of the time it was 1 on 1 unstructured conversation in the fish bowl :) The apartment is nice and each bedroom has its own full private bathroom. The location is excellent and the city is safe. There are several plazas and many shops, restaurants and markets. The laundromats charge only $3 to wash, dry and fold a week's amount of clothing. The weather is mild but it can rain or drizzle without warning.

I really enjoyed my two week stay with English the school. The students were of all ages and levels, and it was really nice to get in touch with locals in this way. They all had their own motivations to learn English, which was very enspiring. Also the workload of four hours per day was reasonable. To do this volunteer work, you need a good social battery and like to get to know people. If that is you, this volunteer work will definetely be a match. Apart from that, the appartment was really nice, and Loja is a nice and cozy town. Not a lot of backpackers, but a good chance to meet locals!

I really enjoyed my experience at Inglès the school, I can say it's my best volunteering experience so far! The school is very nice, all the students are highly motivated to learn, I had a nice chat with most of them. All the stuff are very welcoming, willing to help if I need anything. I extended my stay for one week more because of a special situation and they were very understanding. The appartement was very cool, with private room and private bathroom. I would definitely recommend it!

It's worth it, but if there's a problem with the apartment you get, you really need to insist that they help. The people in charge of the school are rather indifferent Othrr than that it's a good experience overall

The South American Language Center had gave me a very interesting experience were I got to talk to different english students. This was something very nice and I got to play some songs with my guitar along with some students. Everyone is very nice and polite, I'd recomend the experience no doubt!
