Sou muito grata por todos os dias que passei na casa da Felícia – me senti extremamente acolhida! Os horários de trabalho são respeitados, e o ambiente é muito tranquilo. No one on the planet works harder than Felicia. She is a dynamo. The shelter had better facilities than I had expected, though there are many improvements for the future planned. The dogs are healthy, well fed and clean. It's hard work, but Felicia shows you what she needs, even if your Spanish is as poor as mine. She is kind, to animals and volunteers. I don't known how she does it with so little money and support. COME HERE AND HELP. You will be glad that you did. I had some trouble with the altitude, but work slow and rest when you need to.

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I'm very glad it was! Feli is an incredible person with the biggest heart, and it's beautiful to see how passionate she is about her work. The dogs are all so sweet, and it was so much fun getting to know each of them and their unique personalities. The volunteer accommodation is great and the food is super tasty too. It's also a great opportunity to practice Spanish in a natural, everyday setting. I already miss all the doggies!

Feli is the most amazing person and makes such an impact in her community. The work is just a couple of hours of help at the shelter which is very manageable and leaves the afternoons free to explore or relax! It is a great experience to practice Spanish since she doesn't know much english. I cannot say enough great things about Felicia, the shelter, or this experience! Que buena experiencia <3

My three weeks with Felicia were completely unforgettable. The apartment is lovely, just as described with private rooms and often private bathrooms too. It was a lovely way to meet other volunteers from all over the world. The work with the dogs was very rewarding and varied, with different tasks every day. Feli was an amazing host who made everybody feel right at home and organised amazing activities for us such as a potato harvest and going on day trips to archaeological sites around Cusco. I would recommend this experience to anyone who loves dogs and wants to experience Peru authentically

My three weeks with Colitas Sin Techo have been incredible, my only regret is not being able to stay longer. Feli is one of the most inspiring people I have ever met, she is caring, generous and so passionate about her work. I loved every single one of the dogs, they are all sweet and spending time with them was a treat every single day. The rooms/flat for volunteers are fantastic too, and being able to share this experience with other travellers was also really fun! I sincerely could not recommend this experience enough, it is a fantastic project to support and you will be 100% taken care of.

Volunteering here has been such a special experience. The work is relaxed, enjoyable, and really fulfilling. The dogs are so friendly and it's so much fun getting to know each of their personalities. Feli is incredibly kind and welcoming, one of the warmest people I've ever met! The accomodation is also great. Meals are authentic and delicious, with plenty of leftovers for the evening. I got to meet great people from around the world and had lots of chances to practice my Spanish. Cusco is full of life and perfect to explore in the afternoons. I can't recommend this voluntary experience enough

Felicia is a wonderful, kind, caring lady who is there for you every step of the way. Whatever you need, she will help you with it. You will also form bonds with your fellow housemates and explore the city of Cusco together. The dog shelter is full of incredible pups of all different breeds and ages and sizes. You will fall in love with many of them like I did. This was an amazing experience!

This was my first Worldpackers and one of my favorite trips ever! I have a feeling it will be hard to beat as I continue to travel. Even as someone who doesn't speak Spanish the host and other volunteers were so so kind and would help translate for me! The work was easy and super fun and it's so rewarding to see the dogs come out of their shell as you get to know them and bond with them. I wish I could've stayed longer I miss the dogs and the people already :)
