100/10 three months here !! would recommend and also repeat :) became super close with other volunteers and also staff members, got a lot of time to explore and the tasks are super easy as long as you have common sense. Regards to the best manager ever Liuba !!! and to all my roomies 😚

If you're thinking about going to Berlin to stay at the hostel, I can just say—do it! The city is awesome, and the hostel is really well located, close to the train station, a market, and everything you might need. Lubov is a very open-minded person who will listen to you, genuinely care about you as a person, and give you space to share ideas for activities or anything that might make the environment better and more fun for both guests and the team. The team—whether volunteers or staff—you'll meet some truly amazing people. I could spend a whole day talking about them, but no more words, sorry ;) ❤

I had the best time ever! The schedule and shifts were amazing, so as the staff and the other volunteers ◡̈ I would definitely recommend it! Thank you so much for having me in your team, I'll always remember with gratitude, love and nostalgia my days there 𖤓

It was a good place to be, the room is well equipped with a fridge and 'private' bathroom and toilet. The tasks are simple, so there is time to meet guests and staff members. The location of the hostel is very good, It is very easy to move from Ostkreuz to anywhere. Maybe it was that winter was almost beginning but I felt that the place lacked a little vibe. Then breakfast and dinner are complete, nothing to say about it. I met very good colleagues in my passage there :)

My stay at the hostel friedrichshain was amazing, a 10/10 place to stay! It's not a party hostel as some might expect, it is a social family/student hostel but there was always room for some party and cool gatherings. The team is very dynamic and friendly, they really make you feel at home specially Liubov (aka Liuba). She's great and one of the best manager/friend I've had! Work is pretty simple and straight forward, nothing really hard and we have 3 days off to go explore Berlin. I'm glad I came here, it was the right decision! Much love to all of them :)

I had a great time at the hostel Friedrichshain! Hostel is in a great location, super cool neighbourhood with lots to do and right next to a major train station. Berlin is an amazing city with so much to explore!! Tasks at the hostel were easy and hours were respected. Easy to have the days off you preferred. A shared bunk bed room with the other volunteers. You get a nice breakfast everyday and dinner most nights. Staff at the hostel were super friendly and kind, a very welcoming and fun place! Would definitely recommend!!

Had such a great time. The hostel is in a perfect location and the staff were all great - we really felt like part of the house. The hours were fair and there was always breakfast, sometimes dinners too. Would definitely recommend this stay for anyone who wants to explore Berlin. The hostel/hotel is more family/school-tour oriented than "party" - which is great when you need to rest. Athough the bar was always very lively and there was lots of fun to be had ❤️

Our experience at the hostel was very valuable and positive! From the very first day here, we were warmly welcomed by Alex (ex manager) He introduced us to all the tasks and jobs to be done at the hostel! The work is simple to do, the hours are respected! Breakfast and dinner are delicious! I want to leave a huge THANK YOU to the kitchen team, who made us feel at home with so much kindness, care, and respect. What amazing people! A big thank you to our friend Dina, who was always incredibly kind and patient in teaching me everything! We leave behind people who will forever stay in our hearts!

My experience was very good. The person responsible for the volunteers was very nice and flexible with shifts. The team also welcomed me and helped me with whatever I needed. The Hostel is very well located and the breakfast was wonderful! I recommend it to anyone who wants to volunteer in Berlin :)
