Home away from home. THE BEST VOLUNTEERING PROJECT OF MY LIFE. Peebles is a peaceful, beautiful Scottish town with friendly, warm, and generous locals. David and Natalya are very hospitable,nice people. David has such a good heart and he also is very cheerful and funny.He is very generous and friendly as well.His accent is not for beginners though :) , The dog is very friendly. I felt so sad saying goodbye to her.Me , dog , David , Natalya , Estephani... Thank you P.S: Especially if you are a male volunteer , I suggest you to be handy and maybe experienced in maintanance.

Kaan is a great cook!!
He made some really tasty meals. He has a good command of the English Laguage which makes a huge difference to the work situation. He is very sociable intelligent and phisically able to do hard work. He made a real input here am greatfull for all the work he did. Good luck Kaan and Namaste 🙏

"A home away from home" would describe it with these words. I can't thank David and Natalia enough for everything they offered me in this volunteering. We went to eat from the first day with DC, yoga classes, English classes with Natalia, we went hiking in the mountains, we had a traditional Scottish party and learned to dance, we got to know Edinburgh and traveled by car to beautiful places, we watched movies, listened to music... And so much more. From the first to the last day it was wonderful. I am very happy to have arrived there and I leave a part of my heart with you and Tyne. ❤️

My experience at Cheelwood was CRACKIN GOOD. David is so fun, kind, always willing to help, and encouraging. He taught me so many interesting and useful things. He made sure I had a great time, full of new memories, experiences, and lots of laughter. Thank you for showing me Scottish culture and taking us to amazing places. Natasha was also kind, interesting, fun, and I really enjoyed spending time with her, which made my stay even more enjoyable. They both made me feel at home and like part of the family, and I'm very grateful. They are people I will always remember.DAVID, BOB IS YOUR UNCLE:)

David is an amazing host — very kind and interesting. He took great care of us, organized various activities, and showed us the best spots in town. He taught us yoga, meditation, and dance anarchy. We also met David's partner, Natasha, who is super friendly and curious about other cultures. We even joined her online English conversation club. The tasks were diverse, but David always gave us the tools and guidance needed. I loved working on renovations and learning hands-on skills. Highly recommend for anyone eager to learn/practice maintenance skills.

My experience at David's house couldn't have been better. He's extremely welcoming and fun. He loves to talk and takes us on mountain bike rides to paradisiacal places. Simply fantastic! The tasks aren't difficult, he keeps to his schedule, helps us, is always there, and makes sure we're always well fed. Not to mention his partner, Natasha, who is always very kind, loves to chat during dinner and helps us a lot with our English. It was a wonderful 3 weeks, I highly recommend it!!

David and Natalia are wonderful people who are kind, loving and have a very sweet heart. I felt part of the family, where doing the work became a learning and sharing activity. The landscapes are wonderful, the walks around the village, the motorbike rides, the dances and the parties in the house were incredible. The experience was very peaceful, where I took with me great learning, teachings and two human beings in my heart for life. Peebles is a very peaceful place, the people are very friendly, and you have a place and space to rest and relax. Thank you, blessings, namaste.

I loved meeting and helping David and Natasha with their tasks. They were always very welcoming and affectionate with me. I will always hold a deep affection and gratitude for these wonderful people. Regarding the work, it's basically helping them take care of and repair some parts of the house, but it's very easygoing. As for the stay, it was great and cozy. We went on outings and visited some places, which was great! We also have yoga classes twice a week, which I loved! David allowed me to extend my stay to 30 days, for which I am very grateful! I hope to see them again in the future!

Vanessa is a lovely girl with a very beautiful smile. She is caring, empathic, and organized in how she structures her tasks. She is great at dealing with any kind of work and forward-thinking in all that she does. Her English is very good which makes a big difference. We laughed a lot and I wish she could have stayed longer. I would recommend Vanessa as a great team worker and also as a sincere and honest friend.

David and Natalie welcomed me warmly; I felt like a member of the family. The experience was fantastic and very special to me, and I highly recommend it. David is a yoga instructor and gives excellent classes. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the meals are wonderful.

It was my first experience in Scotland and I definitely recommend it! David and Natalia were very kind, they helped me despite my difficulty with the language. The work hours are respected and the meals are very delicious. I help with maintenance tasks and assisting David at different times. We also shared trips to other cities and yoga classes given by David. Thanks for everything and good life!
